My name is Technoblade and I'm the fastest skyblock player alive.
To the outside world I'm an ordinary Minecraft youtuber, but secretly I've spent the last year fighting to maintain my spot as the number 1 potato farmer in Skyblock.
Opposing me is Squid Kid, the former rank number 1. A man whose obsession with potatoes is rivalled only by my own.
In my last video I talked about how the newly added rabbit pet could at its highest level could increase the amount of potatoes my minions made by 30% but I knew Squid would watch my video to find out my tactics so I left out a few of the finer details.
See the boost from rabbit pets isn't the same as flycatchers or catalysts, you have to be there.. on the island for the boost to take effect. Once you log off or go to somewhere else on skyblock that boost is gone until you come back.
But while I was experimenting with the rabbit pet I uncovered a few interesting facts about how the boost works for instance:
Rabbit pets can boost other people's minions if you're visiting their island as a guest, but minions can only get boosted by one rabbit at a time so you cant just get 20 accounts with rabbit pets for infinite potatoes. The third thing I found was the most interesting and this is what Squid Kid didn't know. If there's multiple rabbit pets on the same island which one boosts the minions? You'd think it'd be the strongest one but it's not!
If there's multiple rabbits the minions will be boosted by the one belonging to whoever's been on the island the longest. So hypothetically speaking if someone went to their island with their level 100 rabbit when someone was already there with the level 1 one, they wouldn't get their rabbit's 30% boost, they'd get the level 1's 0.3% boost.
Unrelated fun fact, did you know that squid kid's island is still open to visitors? Yeah that's right we're doing this again...
So I bought a new Minecraft account, slapped a level 1 legendary rabbit pet onto it and shipped it off to Squid Kid's AFK pool! I knew I had to maintain absolute secrecy- I didn't even tell my goons about this because I knew once Squid got wind of this it would be trivially easy for him to prevent it.
I waited until the day I released the second Potato War video to start, after that video tourists flocked to Squid Kid's island to see it for themselves, my alt blended right in.
Everday my alt would sit there in Squid Kid's afk pool to maintain rabbit priority in fact it usually had the rabbit pet deactivated during the day since you don't need to have the pet out to keep priority and since the rabbit was deactivated if squid checked his minions during the day he'd find nothing wrong with them.
But every night around 2am Squid would leave his account AFK and go to bed and that's when I'd strike overriding his rabbit pet boost for the rest of the night and yes I memorized Squid's sleeping schedule, I mean at this point how is that even a question of course I did but unfortunately complications soon arose.
Squid and I had both been rushing to get our rabbit pets to level 100 and I had a pretty heavy lead and I figured it'd take Squid several more weeks to get his there, but unfortunately and unknwon third party got there first and sold his level 100 legendary rabbit directly to Squid.
Of course he didn't forget to brag about this victory on stream.
Squid: "Oh my oh my, you know who doesn't have a level 100 pet, yikes he has a level 99 rabbit pet, he's poor, it's only level 99 I'm screaming ahhhhhhhhh."
Little did he know that while he was flexing on stream, my alt was right there on his island overriding his level 100 bonus.
But my problems didn't stop there you see, Squid got an alt account to AFK with his rabbit pet on his island while he was doing other things and since the alt account had no reason to ever leave his island it became much harder to keep control of pet priority and sometimes when I had priority he'd end up kicking everyone from his island because it was too full for his alt account meaning I had lost priority for the rest of the day.
I was going to counter this by spending $30 to buy his alt MVP++ since that rank can bypass guesting limits #ad but unfortunately on March 20th my alt was kicked and Squid's island was closed forever.
The jig was up but by that point I'd already achieved my objective. The two weeks it took to realize what was going on cost him about 2 million potatoes.
Bit of a tangent but I'm pretty sure I lost a few fans over the rabbit pet because everyone would just be hanging out, they'd just be chilling on my island with their level 30 rabbits activated and I'd come see that and I don't care if it's intentional or not but they're sabotaging my potatoes! So I'd kick them out of my island to get priority back and they they'd come back 10 seconds later like:
"Why did you kick me Technoblade? I just wanted to meet my favourite youtuber :("
And I'd be like woah woah relax dude relax it's not a big deal, I have a really good reason I just can't tell you because it is a secret and then you're like:
"It's okay Technoblade I know the reason.. It's because you hate ME SPECIFICALLY I'll just go leave forever now."
And I'm just like WAIT come back noooo so Squid closed his island which meant I couldn't sabotage him anymore, but what if I told you that was also part of my master plan?
You ever noticed how my island has been open to visitors during the potato war? In the last video I explained:
"I made an AFK machine on my island so planted potatoes would keep growing even why I wasn't online."
I was actually using an advanced technique there called LYING, this clip of the AFK pool was from November, I didn't even make the manual farm until January!
You might recall from the first Potato War video depending on whether there's people on the island or not. Because if no one is on the island, Hypixel's not gonna waste resources keeping that server online so they are going to close the server and then when you come back they're gonna go oh well it's been 7 hours and it's gonna run a calculation and give you 7 hours worth of stuff.
But as we've seen before that calculation isn't perfect, so I ran an experiment and I found that when someone's on my island I get 10% more potatoes! And there was only one thing boosting my minions by 10%.. the Farm Crystal.
The farm crystal is an external buff so it's not included in the offline calculation so if there's at least one person on my island and Squid's island is empty I'd get 10% more potatoes! Now it was easy to get people to AFK on my island, what was difficult was getting people off of Squid's island.
You see even months after the first potato war video came out when the initial hype was starting to die down a bit there would be at least one of my own viewers AFK on Squid's island every night. You know.. as a joke! Sometimes I would be on Squid's island on an alt account and I'd see someone in the chat:
"I'm gonna go AFK to help Technoblade win the potato war!"
And I'd beg them, I'd be like "no dude please, please he fixed that months ago, that doesn't hurt him anymore and they'd be like:
"I'M HELPING"
and AFK all, Squid Kid was getting boosted by my own viewers and there was nothing I could do to stop them because what was I going to do, announce that AFKing helped him? Then even MORE people would AFK! I realised that the only way to stop this from happening would be to get Squid to close his own island to visitors without him realising that that's what I wanted all along.
It took four long months but it finally happened, but anyways back to this tweet, so Squid says he closed his island because someone filled his potion system with rookie axes.
A common trolling method in SkyBlock is to fill people's inventories with useless items like boats, but the rookie axe is even worse for players like Squid Kid who use the skyblock add-ons mod which has a feature which makes it very difficult to drop tools out of your inventory.
The point is to stop people from accidentally dropping weapons worth millions of gold, but it also applies to the rookie axe sold in shops for 12 coins, so basically someone dumping a ton of rookie axes into your hopper system is the worst thing someone can do to you in skyblock.
Now I've always been interested in psychology, in fact I almost majored in it so after 6 months of stalking Squid, I had developed a bit of a psychological profile of this man.
I know how he TALKS, I know how he THINKS and when I saw this tweet I instantly knew that thiis man was LYING. Now don't get me wrong I completely believe that somebody dropped rookie axes into his hoppers because it was me but that's not the real reason he closed his island after all I'd been dropping rookie axes into his hoppers for weeks, but he sent that tweet eight minutes after he kicked my alt.
So I get to thinking, why would Squid lie about that? And I realize Squid knows I monitor his tweets, but what he doesn't know is that that was my alt account from his perspective that could have been some random guy with a rabbit and if that was the case I'd have no idea rabbits could be used that way.
As such him lying in that tweet could only mean one thing, he's about to sabotage ME! So i held a stakeout on my island and guess what I found a few hours later, a brand new skyblock account AFKing with a level 1 legendary rabbit. Truthfully I could have stopped squid before he even joined my island but I wanted to catch him in the act because I'm always getting comments saying:
"OMG Technoblade why are you so mean to Squid?"
They don't understand, this is WAR there's no holding back! I know that and Squid knows that, the only difference is that I'm 20 steps ahead, he's playing skyblock while I'm playing Deathnote.
He thinks he can outsmart me with my own strategies because he is yet to realise that he is but a puppet and I the puppeteer DANCE POTATO BOY! DANCE!
So anyways I got on my secret alt account and sent his secret alt account a party invitation and then I DMed him on discord Yo dude accept my invite!
Squid: "Well this is awkward.."
He actually did accept my invite and we had a lovely conversation and then I BANNED him from my island get OUT of here you trued again with another account a few days later, I don't have any proof that this account is him but look at that username "Stinky Bozo" That's a pretty unusual word in fact I've only heard one person say it:
Squid: "Bozo, Bozo, you are Bozo Bozo, nice one Bozo, you're a freaking Bozo Bozo"
Yeah that's right get out of here, I did eventually close my island, but not before I made sure I wouldn't lose potatoes.
After that I moved on to the next phase of my master plan if I wanted to farm more potatoes I'd have to start farming pumpkins, but wait a minute Technoblade, that's the wrong vegetable! Wait.. what do you mean it's a fruit?
Whatever at this point we pretty much maxed out the output of our minions the only thing left to work on was the speed we could farm potatoes by hand! The farming skill gives more crops as you level up so I decided to grind it to the highest level.
I did the math and found that farming potatoes is so incredibly inefficient at levelling up farming that it was actually more worthwhile to build a whole pumpkin farm.
I began the construction of a pumpkin farm large enough that by the time I finished farming it in full, the pumpkins at the beginning would have already regrown. I don't even want to tell you how long it took to build this.
And so I began farming day after day at times I'd farmed for so long without break that the people watching thought that I was botting, word of my pumpkin farming soon reached Squid who began farming pumpkins himself, but he only saw the surface level of what I was doing.
You see I wasn't just levelling up my farming skills I was also levelling up multiple legendary rabbits. There's a reason I wanted to stop people from AFKing on Squid's island even after he started AFKing himself and it's because it's almost IMPOSSIBLE for one man to AFK every hour of the day because servers restart, the game can update, your internet can go out and if you're asleep or doing something else you'll be missing out on those bonuses until you get back.
Even the most dedicated individual might only average 20 hours of AFK coverage per day and those 4 hours alone without the rabbit pet and farming crystal cost you 100 thousand potatoes and over time, that adds up.
To fix this flaw, I got multiple level 100 rabbits some leveled myself and others purchased for tens of millions of coins and then distributed to goons in diverse timezones. I set my island so only guild members could visit and I had my head goon code a discord bot that automatically pinged them within five seconds of the rabbit account leaving my island at which point one of them could log into the island themselves and boost my minions until I got back.
After a few weeks we both reached farming level 50. On May 4th there was a pet update which added among other things the elephant pet which at its highest level could increase crop yield by 25%. Ordinarily a buff to manual farming would be bad for me since it allows squid to catch up that much more quickly, but I had a plan.
The reason farming potatoes by hand is so inefficient is because when you break potatoes they don't grow back so 2/3 of the time you spend farming is spent replanting the potatoes you just harvested. Squid Kid and his viewers spent many hours trying to find a workaround to this even building an elaborate redstone machine in an attempt to somewhat automate replanting, but in the end they failed to find a better method and continued farming normally:
Squid: "I should be able to plant five (potatoes) at the same time, why is it so dang slow it takes forever"
What if I told you I found a way, you see back in January I had an idea, what if I had the minions plant for me. At the time this was impractical for two reasons,
One, I didnt have enough farming bonuses for it to be worth sacrificing the minions normal output, but this was solved when i got farming level 50 secondly potato minions were simply too slow, but since then they've buffed fly catchers, added the rabbit pet and added foul flesh, a new fuel source which buffs minion speeds by 90% even then the potato minions weren't quite fast enough to keep up, but I thought to myself if they're only going to be planting they don't need to waste an upgrade slot on a super compactor, so I spent another 250 million coins to get 48 total flycatchers.
Squid and I both started farming potatoes but his method could get at most 200 thousand potatoes per hour whereas my method with double flycatchers even after subtracting the amount the minions would have made themselves could get 410 thousand potatoes per hour. For the next three weeks Squid farmed hours every day but I was farming at the same time.
Squid: "What are the odds he's farming right now, five bits I bet techno is doing the same thing just has like a 130% faster way to do it"
In this time I expanded my lead by another 5 million potatoes, but at this point Squid and I had been farming potatoes for almost a year and we were still farming hours every day with no end in sight neither of us wanted this to continue so we came to an agreement.
Whoever got to 500 million potatoes first would win the potato war. Hypixel even pitched in saying he'd give a surprise to the winner. Now I was only at 300 million potatoes at this point, but I figured I had this in the bag I mean I've been tracking Squid's potato count, I accounted for his afk coverage by having the discord bot track his alt accounts logins and I knew how much he was farming by hand because I was monitoring his farming experience.
With a 45 million potato lead and a farming method twice as fast as his own, what could possibly go wrong?
JUNE 6
Things go very wrong, it was just a small update with a few quality of life changes, you know like an enchantment which replants crops after you farm them and an item which automatically compacts items in your inventory so you don't have to spend time on that. You know, two minor changes which just so happened to buff Squid's farming method from 200 thousand potatoes to 1.2 million potatoes (per hour) and my farming method becomes WORTHLESS.
Suddenly my 45 million potato lead goes from insurmountable to yes Squid could farm that in a couple days, Squid starts putting in crazy hours:
Squid: "If I do 12 hours a day can he keep up absolutely not, people say Technoblade never dies but I'm putting him in the grave."
Meanwhile I'm sitting here in shambles, I was out here with my lab coat on doing the science coming up with new never before seen potato farming techniques and this man just goes admins please replanting is too hard and they buff his farming method six-fold!
Was that it? Eight months of plotting and scheming just to fail in the final stretch? NO i couldn't except that, I was going to win this war whatever the cost. I immediately drank three months of mystical mushroom soup and got to work expanding my old potato farm. A project which would take 25 hours over the next couple days.
I knew I was playing the game as intended when I realised that the only reason I ever put on one of the strongest armour sets in the game was to use its 3% speed bonus to optimize tilling dirt. For the next two weeks I did nothing except eat, sleep and farm potatoes, there were only three interuptions each of which cost me millions of potatoes. The first was a dentist appointment and the second was when I had to play in Minecraft Championships.
Squid: "What do I message him? Was it worth your time losing MCC? ehehehheheehhe" "It took me 2 hours to lose MCC but it'll cost you 9 months to lose the potato war, kayyyyyy RELAX, RELAX, hello?"
Besides that there was only one other time:
"I had to go to the store the other day, I had to interrupt my potato farming because my dad was like hey can you go to the store and pick up my medicine and I was like, can I really tell him that I'm not getting his medicine because I need to farm potatoes? Can I really? Look I'm an atheist, but when God sends me to hell I want him to hesitate, okay? I want him to hesitate for a few seconds.
But Squid was also farming several hours a day and he had evem found a way to maxmize his afk coverage. He started sleeping with his headphones on and had his goons wake him up via discord call whenever his alt left his island.
As someone with a discord bot tracking his online activity I can tell you right now that that man is telling the truth. He was waking up multiple times per night, I don't know why he didn't just use backups like me, he actually revealed to me later on that one of my original goons betrayed me and gave him one of our internal documents and the list of backup pet users is literally RIGHT there at the top of the first page I have no idea how he missed it.
But anywas squid logged off an hour and a half ago, he should be entering REM sleep just about now it would be a real shame if someone woke him. I didn't actually wake him up because I wasn't sure if intentional sleep deprivation was legally considered torture or not so I decided to shelf that strategy for the time being.
And after sacrificing two weeks of my life I finally reached 500 million potatoes.
"WE WIN THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE"
Squid was shocked:
Squid: "He's at 499? No he's not, dude there is actually like, it's not possible! NOOOOO it's not, this can't be reaaal!"
Squid had been certain that he was right on my tail.
Squid: "I don't know how fr behind I am, 100% less than 30 million"
And yet when I won the war I had a lead of over 88 million potatoes. How did i do it? It's just as Sun Tzu says:
"All war is deception." -Sun Tzu
You see I knew after the second potato war video things were gonna get more difficult from here on out, because at this point Squid had a full on organization backing him he had goons, a cabal of billionaires funding his every move, 100s of stream viewers on how to farm potatoes more quickly and reporting on my every move so in that video I prepared my final trick. I hid my true potato count.
The number shown in my video wasn't edited, but it didnt include the millions of potatoes left uncollected in my minions. I also said that my minions now produce 1.58 million potatoes, but they're actually producing 1.75 million because the rabbit pet doesn't actually boost your minions by 30%, it boosts them by 43% why? I don't know it's probably bugged and Squid couldn't realise the real number when he got a level 100 rabbit of his own because he was being sabotaged!
But the biggest reason my lead expanded by that much was because over those two weeks, while Squid averaged 8 hours of farming per day, I averaged 11!
Squid: "I just can't believe how much he's farming."
MenacingBanana: "The admins were legit saying that Techno is just like so focused, it baffled them at how like just insane he was he had no breaks!"
Squid: "I swear to god this Technoblade dude is focused on another level"
Towards the very end Squid had one of his goons write a program to chart how much I was farming by tracking how much experience my elephant pet had, but by then it was too late. Once I won the war there was nothing left to do except celebrate my victory with grace and humility.
Squid: "OHHH MY GOOOOSH he's doing a little emote on me ooohh my not like this come onnnn, was was this necessary?"
"Watch me dance Squid Kid you looose! You lose the WAR!"
After the war the admins added a temporary NPC to the skyblock hub, the potato king it gave out a new talisman which boosted potato minions by 5%, a basket for the top 1000 potato farmers and to me, the POTATO CROWN engraved upon it:

That NPC is gone now, I took too long to edit this video! I gained a lot from the Potato War; patience, discipline, carpal tunnel. I guess my main regret is that I bribed Squid's discord admin to give my alt permission to see into his secret text channels and then HE NEVER USED THEM ALL YEAR!
With the war over Squid took down his potato minions and my fields have gone unfarmed while we were enemies I still respect Squid Kid, I understand now that it is only with a worthy rival that once can reach their fullest potential, while he may have lost the war, he's gone from 70 subscribers to having tens of thousands of fans so it can't be said that he's lost completely. For my part I've realized now that rank number isn't an achievement, it's a prison which forces you to dedicate your life to defending a temporary title, but now with the war finally over... I'm free

The Chaos Report - Harvest Week 1: Harvest Crafting || [TEXT VERSION RELEASE]

Values and advice will be updated, as well as tips and recommendations, to fit with the DAY OF THE TEXT RELEASE, so don't fret, this will still serve as a good guideline.
Creating the Chaos Report, as a video, takes about 10 hours of work from research, script writing to editing and releasing it.
These text posts take another 2-3 hours of time, as I need to pack all the information into equally as understandable bits as the video, which means I cannot release them simultaneously, as my schedule simply doesn't allow this amount of work in 1-2 days and any further increase in the development schedule would make the information be more outdated than I'm willing to risk.

Welcome to the Week 1 TEXT VERSION episode of The Chaos Report for 3.11 and the Harvest challenge league!
Do keep in mind that these are educated guesses or predictions and as such they might not be entirely accurate.
SEGMENT 1: CURRENCIES & COMMODITIES
Exalted Orbs are first, as always.
The OG Exalted orb has seen an absolute explosion in price this first week.
I mentioned how the exalted orbs could see a bit of a turbulent league with harvest, but I was not expecting them to absolutely smash every record they've previously had.
They are currently sitting at around 190c, but has already seen a peak of 200+c, at the end of the first week. It's on a small decline for the moment, but I wouldn't expect this decline to be extremely substantial, as the league mechanic itself does not provide a lot of additional exalted orb drops, but heavily devalues chaos as a whole, due to the free "REFORGE" crafts, that players would normally use hundreds of chaos orbs to achieve.
I'd imagine the patch from today is going to heavily effect the prices for exalted orbs, so keep a close eye on the market for the next few days.
If access to the exalted and annul+exalt crafts in harvest league increases, you can expect them to drop accordingly. They'll likely remain above 140c for a vast majority, if not all of the league, simply due to chaos being so heavily disvalued due to the crafting mechanic as a whole, that exalts will not really be able to drop into more managable areas.
Additionally, exalted orbs are also used for a lot of meta-crafting mods and slams that cannot be done by the current league mechanic. So with a lowered supply, due to no extra drop quantity in every map, chaos being heavily devalued and a comperatively increased demand compared to previous leagues, exalts are at an all-time high.
I'd advise care when trying to invest into exalted orbs, as the market for them is extremely unpredictable in the current economic climate.
The Hunter's Exalted Orb followed our predictions fairly closely, rising up quickly to a high plateau that it currently still resides on. A small fluctuation is to be expected, around 50c or so, for the next little while, as more players start crafting and start getting into the higher tier mapping process.
They're currently sitting at an absurdly high 570c, as they're frequently used to create perfect Tailwind boots at the current moment, by using the harvest crafting mechanic. As the tailwind mod is the only "Critical"-tag modifier on Hunter-influenced boots, it's a guaranteed slam with the harvest craft and as a result, the exalted orb has seen a huge price increase.
Similarly affected by the chaos orbs low value, it further increased the prices overall. I would expect these orbs to stay extremely expensive throughout the league, barring any changes to the crafting mechanic as a whole. As a result, if you get one of these, check the weekly prices for hunter exalts and consider if it's worth selling or using it to make your own tailwind boots.
The Awakener Orb has followed the predictions from last week's episode to the letter.
It is currently sitting at around 570c, which is pretty much the exact value predicted based on last league's value and the slight increase in demand due to the need for additional double-influenced bases. This orb is also part of the current tailwind-boots craze, as you can ALSO guarantee an "Elusive"-slam, by using the same "critical"-tag slam craft from harvest, that you'd use for the Tailwind mod as well. As a result, simply having a RedeemeHunter boot and slamming the "crit" mod twice, will ALWAYS result in a Tailwind + Elusive boot, that can then be improved upon or finished up, through whatever other crafts you'd want.
They are likely going to stay fairly pricey as well, similar to the hunter's exalted orb, so expect the prices to fluctuate, but stick around the current pricepoint of 550+c for a while. Once more players get their awakening level 8 atlas setup, I'd expect the prices to potentially slowly dip, as more and more supply will become available for these. However, as more and more exalt/remove options become available as a result of the 3.11.1 patch, we will also likely see a further increase in demand for double-influenced items, further increasing the demand.
Whether or not the supply outstrips the demand or vice versa, will remain to be seen. My bet would be on the prices rising.
The Crusader's Exalted Orb has been sitting at around 380c~ for a while now and seems to simply stick around this area with a few dips and drops here or there.
The mods provided by it are very popular for a variety of builds, so I'd imagine the demand to not drastically decline any time soon. With many players also picking up physical-based abilities, the always popular explosion-mod has also been in fairly high demand.
The harvest crafting also affects this pricing a bit, as it's quite easy to acquire a lot of the desired mods of this influence in specific, using very common crafting options provided by the seeds.
Expect the prices for this one to stick around this area for a while, as long as any future patches don't touch influence crafting or makes the influence-craft seeds more common, of course.
The Warlord's Exalted Orb has seen a fairly rocky time in this league overall. It started off fairly high, like all the other exalted orbs, but has slowly but surely rocked it's way towards the 380c pricepoint.
It currently sits at that 380c pricepoint, but it is expected to reach the below-350c mark in the following few days.
We are likely going to see it dip further and further, as the league goes on, due to many starter builds being large fans of the modpool, while more advanced builds that are created later down the line in any given league, are normally a bit less reliant on the mods from this particular influence type.
Lastly, the Redeemer's Exalted Orb. As always, this orb is the least popular of all the exalts. It is currently sharing it's price with the OG Exalt, at around 190c, after a DRASTIC decline from the previous few days.
While the elusive mod for boots is very popular, the rest of the influence's portfolio of different mods is not exactly something that most players look for in their high-investment items. The new mods and skills added by GGG have also not changed this dynamic a great deal, which lead to the redeemer's orb being the least popular one in this league as well.
As a result, these orbs are likely not going to see a major change in their usual league-cycle, meaning they'll stay roughly around the OG Exalted orb prices, with a slightly higher average price per orb.
I'd imagine these orbs to be about 10-20% more expensive than OG Exalts, once the market stabilises itself a bit more.
As always, if you intend on buying any of these orbs just covered, make sure to keep an eye on this EXTREMELY volatile market.
Alteration Orbs have completely skirted my predictions and done the complete opposite. They were sitting at a comfortable 1:10 chaos ratio for the majority of the first weeks, which is a better ratio than any league I've previously covered on the chaos report.
However, due to the released patch that changed cluster jewels and the frequency of add/remove and add+remove crafts, alterations have skyrocketed and are likely going to hit a high-mark of about 4 or 3:1 soon. Due to a generally low supply of alteration orbs available at the moment, this rapid rise could lead to a major shortage and thus a huge pricepoint for the next coming days.
I'd heavily recommend avoiding alteration crafting for now, until the supply/demand stabilises and the prices return to a normal stage, which I'd expect to be around 4:1 or 5:1 for this league.
The reason for my mis-reading of the original alteration predictions is fairly simple:
I have mis-read the announcements from GGG and the teasers we got regarding the harvest league, as a more target-crafting oriented one, than a chaos-spammy one. I was expecting to see a LOT less chaos re-roll crafts than we have gotten in the actual league mechanic, which tainted my predictions for the alteration orbs.
Since everyone can basically chaos-spam their items and indefinite amount of times with no effort whatsoever, the alteration orbs, which are used to guarantee SPECIFIC high-rolled mods, just aren't as useful anymore to the common player that just wants to craft a bit of their gear every once in a while.
Alteration orbs have, of course, lost none of their value in terms of being the best crafting method to guarantee one or two specific rolls, but they definitely have taken a hit in their overall demand.
Additionally, chaos orbs being devalued as a whole, means that the alteration:chaos ratio is also a bit more skewed than you'd normally expect.
The less chaos-spam is available and needed, the more alteration-crafting will be done and as such, the more alterations will be used.
The Ancient Orbs are last on our list, as always.
I don't want to toot my own horn here, but we were bang on with our predictions for this league.
As a result of the headhunter nerfs and the overall league mechanic scaling very little with the item in particular, the prices of ancient orbs have seen about a 25% dip from the usual league prices.
They are sitting at around 40c which is slightly above what we had predicted for the entirety of this league and will likely continue to stick around this point at average. The prices are currently on a slight rise, at around 40-45c, but they are extremely unlikely to hit the 50+c areas throughout this league, barring any unforseen circumstances like bugs or other abuses.
We will check back with this one next week, but if it stays around the area we predicted again, we'll likely drop it from the list.
I'll quickly give my predictions for the different maps and fragments for the overall league.
Shaper Fragments have, for the first time EVER, dropped below the prices of their elder-style brothers.
As we predicted, the heavy-handed nerfs to everything shaper-related over the past couple of leagues and especially the starforge nerfs for this particular one, have broken the loot-tables back. This resulted in a VASTLY lowered interest in people wanting to fight the Shaper as a whole.
The fragments are currently going for about 19-23c, averaging out to around 20c a piece, for a whole set going for just around 80c. Currently, every uber-elder fragment dropped by the shaper is worth more than the entry-price to the fight itself, but there's still very little demand for the shaper uniques as a whole, resulting in a very weird scenarion, where you can gain guaranteed profit by running shaper, but still not wanting to, simply because the time investment is likely not going to be worth it.
The jackpot drop here is still the Starforge, which is currently sitting at around 1ex, but is rapidly falling lower and lower. With it being an extremely rare drop however, many players are simply following more profitable endeavours.
My recommendation: Sell your fragments, unless you have absolutely no other choice or feel extremely lucky. The time invested into the shaper fight is simply not worth it, compared to even just running maps. Dropping one or two T15+ maps will make you twice as much money as the entire shaper droptable will likely do.
The Uber Elder Fragments are also at a fairly low price, as a direct result of the shaper fragments being so cheap to acquire.
The elder fragments cost about 30-33c and the shaper ones go for about 100-115c each. Thus, a whole set will run you about 270-285c, which is one of the lowest entry prices we've had for Uber Elder bossfights.
The loot-table is fairly decent for this league, as the eternity shroud of a very popular chest-piece at the moment. Additionally, 3-mod watcher's eyes are always worth multiple exalted orbs if sold unidentified and make up a large bulk of the profit you can make with each Uber Elder fight.
With exalted orbs being so expensive, chaos-orb wise, it could be highly profitable to simply buy up Uber Elder sets in chaos and then hoping for some decent drops to sell in exalted orbs, as a singular exalted orb will nearly pay for the entire run.
3-mod watcher's eyes are currently going for about 6-7 exalted orbs, or an equivalent of about 1100-1300~ chaos. For boss-killers, this is definitely a worthwhile endeavour, I'd argue.
We're likely going to see the prices slowly increase for the sets and drop for the loot, as more and more players will get access to elder and shaper as a whole, as they progress their atlas, making the fight itself more accessible across the board.
The Elder Fragments have seen their best league ever, comperatively to the shaper ones, as mentioned earlier. They're currently sitting at around 20-29c, making an entire set cost about 100c total.
The main drop from elder is still the 2-mod watcher's eye, as the other uniques provided don't really offer the current meta-builds much. However, the Chaos version of the Impresence, as well as the Physical version are still fairly alright, in terms of value, so you're not entirely bound to a singular item's worth, if you intend on farming this one.
I'd recommend running them, to be entirely honest, simply for the chance to gain that watcher's eye drop, which could kickstart a lot of your currency gains. About 100c per set is really not that much to lose, if you naturally acrue them over time. I would advise against buying sets tho, for obvious reasons.
The Synthesis Unique Maps have fallen by about 30c since it's last league pricepoint. They're currently sitting at around 40-45c and seem fairly steady here.
Due to a nerf to the unique rings they drop, which was their primary purpose and interest for players, the overall demand for them has decreased drastically.
They are still extremely worthwhile to run, in my personal opinion, as the synthesis map-modifiers can provide a large amount of value if you get lucky with the right ones and the rings usually DO still make back the money you spend on the map or would gain from selling it.
There are also still jackpot rings that you can get filthy rich with, but the chance to acquire one has drastically been lowered as a result of the 3.11 nerfs.
The Cortex on the other hand is as expensive as always, currently sitting at around 1.6 exalted orbs, or about 300c. It still provides one of the best boss-loot tables in the game, with the Maloney's Mechanism and the Bottled Faith, as they are still extremely popular and expensive uniques.
Akin to the synthesis maps, this one will likely see a rise in prices as the league goes on, similar to previous leagues.
Simulacrum Splinters and the Fragment itself represent our newest addition to this segment.
Currently, the splinters are sticking around a 1.1-1.5c ratio per splinter, resulting in a bought fragment price of about 405c. The fragment iself is sitting at around 470c for the convenience of not having to buy 300 individual splinters.
Overall, this is an extremely expensive fragment and should be handled with great care, as you don't want to start a Simulacrum you can't finish, at a pricepoint of about 2-3exalts each.
That said, the simulacrum itself is currently likely to be the most profitable endeavor in the entire game, when it comes to raw currency drops or wealth acquisition as a whole.
As we've shown last league with our Simulacrum episode, the drop-rate on high-value items, currency and fragments inside of the Simulacrum is unrivaled by any other league mechanic.
If you can afford it and manage to beat it reliably, I'd imagine running the Simulacrum could be extremely profitable at the current moment.
For most players however, selling the splinters in moderately large stack sizes, such as 30+, would result in a better option.
One last tip, for aquiring these, build up a HUGE amount of seeds in your garden as T1 plots, to then pop them all at once during a delirium encounter. While you're inside of your garden, the delirium timer is stopped, so you can spend as much time as needed to kill every single last mob. Usually this will result in A: a 6-reward delirium encounter, as well as B: about 30-40 simulacrum splinters as a result of the sheer amount of monsters killed.
SEGMENT 2: UNIQUE ITEM WATCHLIST
The Kintsugi first up on our list.
As predicted, it has seen a rather large increase in popularity, resulting in a 6-linked version of it running at about 3exalted orbs at the current moment. This is likely an inflated price, as I'd imagine the prices to be more around the 400-500c range, but we will see how it continues onwards in the next episode.
The increase in popularity is due to the addition of the Winddancer keystone on the passive tree, which allowed many builds to easily and effortlessly pickup the very popular combination of the keystone and the chest armour, without having to sacrifice much at all in terms of passive points or keystones.
We will likely see an increased decline on the prices however, as there is nothing stopping an influx of them to flood the market, as they're not exactly the rarest unique in the game.
The Surrender unique shield is up next on the list, and has followed our prediction as well.
It is currently among the most popular unique items in the entire game, resulting in an extremely high price of about 5.5 exalted orbs, or a little over 1.0k chaos. You can acquire this one by way of the Uul-Netol breachstone boss encounter. The breachstones themselves are currently costing about 45c, which is actually fairly cheap, considering a singular one of those shield drops will net you around 21x the cost of entry.
Might be worth considering, while the prices for the shield are still high.
They are likely going to fall in the next little while, as more and more players start providing the supply for the shield on the market, as the breachstones themselves are not extremely hard to acquire.
One with Nothing is last on our current list.
As we had covered in the previous episode, this one has seen an extreme rise in popularity throughout much of last league. With the addition of the new slam skills and making more skills available to be used with it, as well as the nerfs to the fracebeaker gloves, this jewel has seen an absolute explosion in terms of prices early on.
It reached a peak of about 906c at the start of the league, but has seen a rather steady decline over the past following days, which is likely going to continue until the 500-550c pricepoint, at which point we can expect a short plateau.
The best way to farm this one is still the Simulacrum encounter. Simply buy up splinters or the finished fragments and go ham. This adds to the entire "Great loot-table" situation I mentioned earlier with the simulacrum. It's REALLY profitable at the moment, for people that can run it.
SEGMENT 3: META & ATLAS ANALYSIS
We predicted that the newly announced melee league, was going to be the usual spiel from GGG in our last episode.
Announce melee buffs, actually end up nerfing a large portion of melee builds in the process, buff a few other parts to make them remotely viable and also, of course we can't forget that, buff the hell out of spell casters and summoners, because they clearly need it.
As a result, Melee character seem to be around the 5th to 6th most popular archetype in the current league,, as I predicted in the last episode.
Necromancers are, as always, leading the pack with a staggering 28% playrate, as they're still the easiest and most brain-dead (haha get it, cause zombies eat brains) build to play in the game and especially powerful at the beginning of a league, due to the extremely low equipment requirements.
Directly following are ED/Contagion tricksters and the myriad of differnet mining builds, with Ball Lightning being the skill of choice for about 80% of them. Tricksters are sitting at 11% and the Saboteurs are sitting happily at their 10% for the moment.
One last thing I want to point out is that the 8% Gladiator representation here is not actually a melee-heavy one. Gladiators are mostly used for bleed-bow builds at this point, which is why they're so high in the rankings in this league, as getting bleed-based items is fairly trivial with the harvest league mechanic.
I expect more and more melees to drop of the ladder as the ladder progresses into the higher level areas, due to the slow playstyle of 2-handed weapons leading to more deaths and GGG ALSO nerfing a large amount of defensive abilities for melees in the process of the 3.11 patch, such as Vaal Molten Shell, which was one of the only real defense options to stay alive with when you had to get in close and personal.
As a result, expect more and more casters and summoners to show up over the course of the league and more melee archetypes to disappear from the ladder entirely.
As for the Atlas Predctions, I currently don't have a lot to report here.
I'd advise focusing on maps that are quick to run, to get a lot of seeds, or simply go with the usual great-maps-to-run list.
A few maps in particular that look extra juicy with the exalt prices right now, are alleyways, arcade and precinct.
I had to do a LOT of research and experimentation on the harvest crafting for the following strategy segment, so I did not have enough time to really invest myself into researching the atlas and what maps are the absolute best. This is just my personal opinion on the matter as of right now.
I'll update you in the next episode with, hopefully, a more complete rundown.
SEGMENT 5: STRATEGY & DISCUSSION
With the Meta and Atlas predictions finished, let's move onto the strategy and discussion segment. I'll be covering the basics of harvest crafting here, providing a useful spreadsheet and showing some examples of more advanced crafts.
By this point, everyone should have set up a basic garden with a few plots, some storage tanks and potentially a Horticrafting Station or two. Which particular setup you chose is not really important, as long as you're able to grow everything you intend on growing.
In the background you'll see a quick runthrough of my garden. I will not be providing a layout for it, as the specific layout doesn't really matter, it's more about giving you a general idea of where things COULD be placed, so that you might be able to adjust whatever layout you ALREADY have towards a more efficient version.
That said, however, I'd recommend a garden layout that emphasizes storage space and T1 seed plots, as many as possible, over a layout that favours aesthetics or higher-tier plots. With the 3.11.1f changes, higher tier maps and especially T16s are dropping an absolute TON of seeds. From my own experience, you will require about 4-5 T1 plots of each color, to not end up sitting on seeds before the first ones are fully grown. You won't fill up all 15 plots, but if you run into a bad RNG streak and end up getting the same colored seeds multiple times in a row, you will require at least 4-5 of the same colored plots.
As such, have them at least in your seed storage, to switch out colors whenever needed, so you aren't wasting any growth cycles, if you aren't willing to re-do your garden with about 15 T1 plots in mind.
The colors of each seed correspond to their crafts and are divided into 3 categories for each tier, representing their appearance rate.
First are, of course, the "common" seeds. These will be what you will find most of the time, when planting any colored seeds. Then are the "uncommon" seeds, out of which you'll usually find a few in each full plot that you harvest of any given color. Lastly, there's the "rare" seeds. These will only show up every once in a while and you should do your best to use the crafts they provide to their absolute best potential or save them for later, as you won't get them very often.
  • Yellow seeds come with the following crafting options: -- Life and Attack related crafts as the "common" options. -- Socket changes related crafts as the "uncommon" options. -- Cold and Speed related crafts as the "rare" options.
  • Purple seeds have the following options: -- Caster and Physical related crafts as the "common" one. -- Socket change related crafts as the "uncommon". -- And Fire and Currency related crafts as the "rare" ones.
  • Lastly, Blue seeds have the following inclanations: -- Defense and Lightning related crafts as the "common" options. -- Link change and Unique Item related crafts as the "uncommon" options. -- Chaos related crafts as the "rare" options.
Those only cover the T1s, but to be entirely honest, most players will not require a specific breakdown of T2 and higher, as the frequency that you acquire those with is so low, that you're likely going to simply plant every single T2 and up seed that you get anyway, so specifying which one is rare and which one isn't, outside of giving you the names of the absolute best seeds to sell, as I've done earlier during the commoddity section, does not seem like a worthwhile use of our time.
Just be aware that each tier of seeds gets progressively rarer as a result of only being dropped by the lower counterparts. You require fully grown T1s to drop T2s. Fully grown T2s to drop T3s. And of course, fully grown T3s to drop T4s. As a result, simply double-check the list provided earlier to make sure you're not willy-nilly planting extremely profitable seeds and using them for fun, when there's profit to be made.
Outside of those specific ones, just go ahead and experiment with them. Have fun, craft some items, make some profit with the crafts, or just slurp 'em for juice for the better seeds later on.
Moving onto the actual specific of the crafts, here's a quick rundown of what each keyword will actually do to your items:
  • Randomise = Divine Orb equivalent craft for ALL the specific mods with the descriptor given.
Example: "Randomise the numeric values of the random Physical modifiers on a Magic or Rare item", from the Purple T1 "Wild Hellion", will re-roll every VALUE of the mods on your item with the "Physical" tag.
  • Reforge = Chaos Orb equivalent craft for the ENTIRE item.
Example: "Reforge a Rare item with new random modifiers, including a Caster modifier", from the Purple T1 "Wild Ursaling", will re-roll the ENTIRE item, but guarantee AT LEAST 1 mod with the "Caster" tag.
  • Remove = Annulment Orb equivalent craft for ONE RANDOM mod with the given descriptor on your item.
Example: "Remove a random Life modifier from an item", from the Yellow T1 "Vivid Weta", will remove ONE random mod with the "Life" tag.
  • Augment = Exalted Orb equivalent craft for ONE RANDOM mod with the given descriptor.
Example: "Augment an item with a new Chaos modifier", from the Blue T1 "Primal Maw", will add ONE random mod with the "Chaos" tag to your item.
  • Remove and Add = A combination of "Remove" and "Augment". Annulment + Exalted Orb equivalent craft for ONE RANDOM mod with the given descriptor on your item.
Example: "Remove a random non-Lightning modifier from an item and add a new Lightning modifier", from the Blue T1 "Primal Dustspitter", will FIRST get rid of any mod on the item, that does NOT have a "Lightning" tag, THEN it will add a mod with the "Lightning" tag. This means that you CANNOT block suffixes or prefixes simply by filling them up with random mods. You'd have to fill either the prefixes or suffixes with 3 mods that each have the "Lightning" tag, in order to FORCE this one to choose a suffix or prefix respectively.
With those keywords covered, you will likely have started to already get a rough idea for just HOW powerful this crafting can be, when applied properly.
Outside of simply being able to essentially fossil or chaos spam items a near-indefinite amount of times, you can, for the first time ever in POEs history, Annul and Exalt TARGETED crafts. If you have been browsing reddit for the last few days, you will have seen some absolutely crazy items popping up, with literally all T1, best possible rolls and best possible mods on any given item.
This is due to the ability to use and combine these new crafts in order to create entirely new crafting ways.
Here's one example of such a new crafting way:
Let's assume we have a Wand, like this one shown right here. We're looking at some pretty decent stats overall and with any other league, outside of a double-veiled craft, a lucky annul, a raw exalt slam or simply bench crafting it, our options would not only be fairly limited to improve this wand, but also be entirely irrelevant, as players would never consider investing so much work and currency into a wand with an item level of 73.
However, Harvest league changes this in a big way, through two specific limitations that are applied to each craft:
Firstly, any given craft can only be used on items, that are AT MOST 10 levels higher. This means that this wand can be crafted with any seed that is higher level than 63, but NO seeds that are below that item level. As such, a large hurdle of using currencies on these types of lower-iLvL items is gone. Where you'd save your exalts and annuls for the absolute best of the best, these crafts CANNOT be saved for the higher level items, due to this restriction.
The second part, is that crafts are (unless you have a near infinite amount of Horticrafting Stations) time-limited to the one instance that you harvested the seeds in, meaning you will HAVE to use it immediately or lose it.
These two aspects combine to make for some very fun and interesting choices, that would normally never occur if the crafts were simple currencies that could be used freely, such as an exalt or an annul.
Getting back to the wand, let's say we wanted to change the critical strike chance, as the Tier 4 roll is really nothing to write home about. We have a few different choices for crafts, in order to make this happen:
Firstly, we could simply "REMOVE" the mod with the corresponding "critical"-tag craft. We could "REMOVE" it with a "non-XYZ"-tag craft, like the lightning one mentioned earlier. Or we could simply decide to replace it with a different version of itself, or any other "critical"-tag craft, using the "REMOVE AND ADD" keyworded craft of the "critical"-tag assortment.
This particular one mentioned, comes from a Blue T2 Grain by the name of "Primal Viper". It is one of the most expensive and rare ones out there, so should not be used without proper forethought, especially as it's also a T2 and used in very very powerful crafts that I'll mention in just a bit.
However, for our purposes, we're going to assume we want to make this wand the best it can be.
As such, we will use the craft that reads as follows: "Remove a random Critical modifier from an item and add a new Critical modifier"
If you remember me mentioning it earlier, it will FIRST remove the mod that exists and then choose ANY mod of that particular modifier type. As a result, you can these particular crafting options to simply re-roll the TIER of a given mod, if it's the only mod of it's kind that a given item can receive. This wand however, can receive another "critical"-tag modifier.
The critical strike multiplier suffix, which we have hit with our craft, as shown right here.
With this one simple crafting operation, we've now changed a mediocre wand that had a pretty sub-par critical strike chance suffix, into a vastly superior one, featuring a critcial strike multiplier suffix instead. This method can also be used to re-roll resistance tiers, life tiers, energy shield tiers, physical damage tiers, etc. etc. The list goes on near-indefinitely, for as many crafting-tag types as there are in the harvest league mechanic.
One further use of this particular type of craft, the "REMOVE AND ADD" keyword, is that you can simply use the crafting bench to craft any given mod with such a tag onto an item that doesn't already have such a tagged mod, in order to then essentially "exalt" a mod of that type onto the item, by REMOVING the crafted modifier and ADDING an entirely new one.
Through this combination and many others, which would be way too plentiful to explain in this thread, it is possible to achieve crafts that were previously absolutely unimaginable. If you need some inspiration for crafts, simply head on over to the subreddit of Path of Exile and check out the "Item Showcase" tag and just look around in the posts from the last day or two. There's PLENTY of insane examples of the entire crafting system being applied, resulting in previous mirror-tier items left and right.
There are 2 further things I want to cover before ending this discussion.
Firstly, here's a quick list of seeds you should look out for, as they're potentially valuable and likely more worthwhile to sell than to plant yourself, unless you know exactly what you're doing. Keep in mind that for these seeds to be as worthwhile as possible, you will want at least iLvL 75 versions of the seeds, to make it possible to use their crafts on iLvL 85 items and lower:
  • Primal Maw Seed (Blue T1)
  • Primal Viper Grain (Blue T2)
  • Primal Scrabbler Grain (Blue T2)
  • Primal Blisterlord Bulb (Blue T3)
  • Vivid Thornweaver Seed (Yellow T1)
  • Vivid Nestback Grain (Yellow T2)
  • Vivid Vulture Bulb (Yellow T3)
  • Vivid Abberarach Bulb (Yellow T3)
  • Wild Chieftain Grain (Purple T2)
  • Wild Spikeback Grain (Purple T2)
  • Wild Bristle Matron Bulb (Purple T3)
  • Wild Thornmaw Bulb (Purple T3)
  • Wild Brambleback Bulb (Purple T3) !!This one is extremely rare and pricey!!
  • Wild Infestation Queen Bulb (Purple T3)
Secondly, I will provide a spreadsheet that will show you a list of influence-specific mods that you can 100% guarantee using the harvest-crafting method, starting specific iLvLs with the correct bases.
The way this one works, is that it shows the affix you can guarantee on the left, the second column will show you the minimum item-level requirement to roll the specific mod, the third column will tell you what specific item-type the base needs to have and the last column will tell you which crafting seed you need in order to guarantee the outcome. Note here, that it's NOT necessary to have an augment (aka. exalt craft) in order to get these. It's enough to simply use one of the "Reforge with guaranteed X-type mod" crafts at the specified level with the correct base, in order to guarantee the outcome mentioned in the first column.
This spreadsheet was NOT compiled by me, so it might contain a few errors, but from my personal testing and research it seems accurate so far. This table was created by a reddit user with the name of TheSennosenMan, who, of course, will also be credited on the screen and in the spreadsheet itself. There are a ton of different things that I'd like to cover, as the harvest crafting system is incredibly complex and the most powerful individual mechanic we've ever had access to, but unfortunately my time is limited and so is yours. As a result, I'll simply point you in the direction of further information or ideas to pursue with a short list of things for now:
  • Check out the subreddit for crafting guides on specifically "Tailwind" boots. The entire process is described in multiple threads there. Similarly, you can find guaranteed ways to get yourself an Explosion chestpiece as well.
  • Try crafting a few cluster jewels (especially small ones), with this mechanic. It leads to really easy currency gains, as there's such few mods you have to actually hit, that it's pretty easy to target and re-craft the ones you don't think are amazing. Especially Energy Shield and Life bases are fairly popular for this.
  • Try looking for items to re-craft and flip for profit. Simply search for an item that already is nearly finished, but has one or two bad rolls on it, to then use your own harvest crafts to re-craft them and make a large profit. Especially jewelry here is very popular, such as high-res but low-life jewellry, which can easily be re-crafted into the hundreds of chaos area with a simple "REMOVE AND ADD" life craft.

The following events were done by deranged individuals with complete disregard for their own physical and mental well-being.

My name is Technoblade and I'm the fastest skyblock player alive.
To the outside world I'm an ordinary Minecraft youtuber, but secretly I've spent the last year fighting to maintain my spot as the number 1 potato farmer in Skyblock.
Opposing me is Squid Kid, the former rank number 1. A man whose obsession with potatoes is rivalled only by my own.
In my last video I talked about how the newly added rabbit pet could at its highest level could increase the amount of potatoes my minions made by 30% but I knew Squid would watch my video to find out my tactics so I left out a few of the finer details.
See the boost from rabbit pets isn't the same as flycatchers or catalysts, you have to be there.. on the island for the boost to take effect. Once you log off or go to somewhere else on skyblock that boost is gone until you come back.
But while I was experimenting with the rabbit pet I uncovered a few interesting facts about how the boost works for instance:
Rabbit pets can boost other people's minions if you're visiting their island as a guest, but minions can only get boosted by one rabbit at a time so you cant just get 20 accounts with rabbit pets for infinite potatoes. The third thing I found was the most interesting and this is what Squid Kid didn't know. If there's multiple rabbit pets on the same island which one boosts the minions? You'd think it'd be the strongest one but it's not!
If there's multiple rabbits the minions will be boosted by the one belonging to whoever's been on the island the longest. So hypothetically speaking if someone went to their island with their level 100 rabbit when someone was already there with the level 1 one, they wouldn't get their rabbit's 30% boost, they'd get the level 1's 0.3% boost.
Unrelated fun fact, did you know that squid kid's island is still open to visitors? Yeah that's right we're doing this again...
So I bought a new Minecraft account, slapped a level 1 legendary rabbit pet onto it and shipped it off to Squid Kid's AFK pool! I knew I had to maintain absolute secrecy- I didn't even tell my goons about this because I knew once Squid got wind of this it would be trivially easy for him to prevent it.
I waited until the day I released the second Potato War video to start, after that video tourists flocked to Squid Kid's island to see it for themselves, my alt blended right in.
Everday my alt would sit there in Squid Kid's afk pool to maintain rabbit priority in fact it usually had the rabbit pet deactivated during the day since you don't need to have the pet out to keep priority and since the rabbit was deactivated if squid checked his minions during the day he'd find nothing wrong with them.
But every night around 2am Squid would leave his account AFK and go to bed and that's when I'd strike overriding his rabbit pet boost for the rest of the night and yes I memorized Squid's sleeping schedule, I mean at this point how is that even a question of course I did but unfortunately complications soon arose.
Squid and I had both been rushing to get our rabbit pets to level 100 and I had a pretty heavy lead and I figured it'd take Squid several more weeks to get his there, but unfortunately and unknwon third party got there first and sold his level 100 legendary rabbit directly to Squid.
Of course he didn't forget to brag about this victory on stream.
Squid: "Oh my oh my, you know who doesn't have a level 100 pet, yikes he has a level 99 rabbit pet, he's poor, it's only level 99 I'm screaming ahhhhhhhhh."
Little did he know that while he was flexing on stream, my alt was right there on his island overriding his level 100 bonus.
But my problems didn't stop there you see, Squid got an alt account to AFK with his rabbit pet on his island while he was doing other things and since the alt account had no reason to ever leave his island it became much harder to keep control of pet priority and sometimes when I had priority he'd end up kicking everyone from his island because it was too full for his alt account meaning I had lost priority for the rest of the day.
I was going to counter this by spending $30 to buy his alt MVP++ since that rank can bypass guesting limits #ad but unfortunately on March 20th my alt was kicked and Squid's island was closed forever.
The jig was up but by that point I'd already achieved my objective. The two weeks it took to realize what was going on cost him about 2 million potatoes.
Bit of a tangent but I'm pretty sure I lost a few fans over the rabbit pet because everyone would just be hanging out, they'd just be chilling on my island with their level 30 rabbits activated and I'd come see that and I don't care if it's intentional or not but they're sabotaging my potatoes! So I'd kick them out of my island to get priority back and they they'd come back 10 seconds later like:
"Why did you kick me Technoblade? I just wanted to meet my favourite youtuber :("
And I'd be like woah woah relax dude relax it's not a big deal, I have a really good reason I just can't tell you because it is a secret and then you're like:
"It's okay Technoblade I know the reason.. It's because you hate ME SPECIFICALLY I'll just go leave forever now."
And I'm just like WAIT come back noooo so Squid closed his island which meant I couldn't sabotage him anymore, but what if I told you that was also part of my master plan?
You ever noticed how my island has been open to visitors during the potato war? In the last video I explained:
"I made an AFK machine on my island so planted potatoes would keep growing even why I wasn't online."
I was actually using an advanced technique there called LYING, this clip of the AFK pool was from November, I didn't even make the manual farm until January!
You might recall from the first Potato War video depending on whether there's people on the island or not. Because if no one is on the island, Hypixel's not gonna waste resources keeping that server online so they are going to close the server and then when you come back they're gonna go oh well it's been 7 hours and it's gonna run a calculation and give you 7 hours worth of stuff.
But as we've seen before that calculation isn't perfect, so I ran an experiment and I found that when someone's on my island I get 10% more potatoes! And there was only one thing boosting my minions by 10%.. the Farm Crystal.
The farm crystal is an external buff so it's not included in the offline calculation so if there's at least one person on my island and Squid's island is empty I'd get 10% more potatoes! Now it was easy to get people to AFK on my island, what was difficult was getting people off of Squid's island.
You see even months after the first potato war video came out when the initial hype was starting to die down a bit there would be at least one of my own viewers AFK on Squid's island every night. You know.. as a joke! Sometimes I would be on Squid's island on an alt account and I'd see someone in the chat:
"I'm gonna go AFK to help Technoblade win the potato war!"
And I'd beg them, I'd be like "no dude please, please he fixed that months ago, that doesn't hurt him anymore and they'd be like:
"I'M HELPING"
and AFK all, Squid Kid was getting boosted by my own viewers and there was nothing I could do to stop them because what was I going to do, announce that AFKing helped him? Then even MORE people would AFK! I realised that the only way to stop this from happening would be to get Squid to close his own island to visitors without him realising that that's what I wanted all along.
It took four long months but it finally happened, but anyways back to this tweet, so Squid says he closed his island because someone filled his potion system with rookie axes.
A common trolling method in SkyBlock is to fill people's inventories with useless items like boats, but the rookie axe is even worse for players like Squid Kid who use the skyblock add-ons mod which has a feature which makes it very difficult to drop tools out of your inventory.
The point is to stop people from accidentally dropping weapons worth millions of gold, but it also applies to the rookie axe sold in shops for 12 coins, so basically someone dumping a ton of rookie axes into your hopper system is the worst thing someone can do to you in skyblock.
Now I've always been interested in psychology, in fact I almost majored in it so after 6 months of stalking Squid, I had developed a bit of a psychological profile of this man.
I know how he TALKS, I know how he THINKS and when I saw this tweet I instantly knew that thiis man was LYING. Now don't get me wrong I completely believe that somebody dropped rookie axes into his hoppers because it was me but that's not the real reason he closed his island after all I'd been dropping rookie axes into his hoppers for weeks, but he sent that tweet eight minutes after he kicked my alt.
So I get to thinking, why would Squid lie about that? And I realize Squid knows I monitor his tweets, but what he doesn't know is that that was my alt account from his perspective that could have been some random guy with a rabbit and if that was the case I'd have no idea rabbits could be used that way.
As such him lying in that tweet could only mean one thing, he's about to sabotage ME! So i held a stakeout on my island and guess what I found a few hours later, a brand new skyblock account AFKing with a level 1 legendary rabbit. Truthfully I could have stopped squid before he even joined my island but I wanted to catch him in the act because I'm always getting comments saying:
"OMG Technoblade why are you so mean to Squid?"
They don't understand, this is WAR there's no holding back! I know that and Squid knows that, the only difference is that I'm 20 steps ahead, he's playing skyblock while I'm playing Deathnote.
He thinks he can outsmart me with my own strategies because he is yet to realise that he is but a puppet and I the puppeteer DANCE POTATO BOY! DANCE!
So anyways I got on my secret alt account and sent his secret alt account a party invitation and then I DMed him on discord Yo dude accept my invite!
Squid: "Well this is awkward.."
He actually did accept my invite and we had a lovely conversation and then I BANNED him from my island get OUT of here you trued again with another account a few days later, I don't have any proof that this account is him but look at that username "Stinky Bozo" That's a pretty unusual word in fact I've only heard one person say it:
Squid: "Bozo, Bozo, you are Bozo Bozo, nice one Bozo, you're a freaking Bozo Bozo"
Yeah that's right get out of here, I did eventually close my island, but not before I made sure I wouldn't lose potatoes.
After that I moved on to the next phase of my master plan if I wanted to farm more potatoes I'd have to start farming pumpkins, but wait a minute Technoblade, that's the wrong vegetable! Wait.. what do you mean it's a fruit?
Whatever at this point we pretty much maxed out the output of our minions the only thing left to work on was the speed we could farm potatoes by hand! The farming skill gives more crops as you level up so I decided to grind it to the highest level.
I did the math and found that farming potatoes is so incredibly inefficient at levelling up farming that it was actually more worthwhile to build a whole pumpkin farm.
I began the construction of a pumpkin farm large enough that by the time I finished farming it in full, the pumpkins at the beginning would have already regrown. I don't even want to tell you how long it took to build this.
And so I began farming day after day at times I'd farmed for so long without break that the people watching thought that I was botting, word of my pumpkin farming soon reached Squid who began farming pumpkins himself, but he only saw the surface level of what I was doing.
You see I wasn't just levelling up my farming skills I was also levelling up multiple legendary rabbits. There's a reason I wanted to stop people from AFKing on Squid's island even after he started AFKing himself and it's because it's almost IMPOSSIBLE for one man to AFK every hour of the day because servers restart, the game can update, your internet can go out and if you're asleep or doing something else you'll be missing out on those bonuses until you get back.
Even the most dedicated individual might only average 20 hours of AFK coverage per day and those 4 hours alone without the rabbit pet and farming crystal cost you 100 thousand potatoes and over time, that adds up.
To fix this flaw, I got multiple level 100 rabbits some leveled myself and others purchased for tens of millions of coins and then distributed to goons in diverse timezones. I set my island so only guild members could visit and I had my head goon code a discord bot that automatically pinged them within five seconds of the rabbit account leaving my island at which point one of them could log into the island themselves and boost my minions until I got back.
After a few weeks we both reached farming level 50. On May 4th there was a pet update which added among other things the elephant pet which at its highest level could increase crop yield by 25%. Ordinarily a buff to manual farming would be bad for me since it allows squid to catch up that much more quickly, but I had a plan.
The reason farming potatoes by hand is so inefficient is because when you break potatoes they don't grow back so 2/3 of the time you spend farming is spent replanting the potatoes you just harvested. Squid Kid and his viewers spent many hours trying to find a workaround to this even building an elaborate redstone machine in an attempt to somewhat automate replanting, but in the end they failed to find a better method and continued farming normally:
Squid: "I should be able to plant five (potatoes) at the same time, why is it so dang slow it takes forever"
What if I told you I found a way, you see back in January I had an idea, what if I had the minions plant for me. At the time this was impractical for two reasons,
One, I didnt have enough farming bonuses for it to be worth sacrificing the minions normal output, but this was solved when i got farming level 50 secondly potato minions were simply too slow, but since then they've buffed fly catchers, added the rabbit pet and added foul flesh, a new fuel source which buffs minion speeds by 90% even then the potato minions weren't quite fast enough to keep up, but I thought to myself if they're only going to be planting they don't need to waste an upgrade slot on a super compactor, so I spent another 250 million coins to get 48 total flycatchers.
Squid and I both started farming potatoes but his method could get at most 200 thousand potatoes per hour whereas my method with double flycatchers even after subtracting the amount the minions would have made themselves could get 410 thousand potatoes per hour. For the next three weeks Squid farmed hours every day but I was farming at the same time.
Squid: "What are the odds he's farming right now, five bits I bet techno is doing the same thing just has like a 130% faster way to do it"
In this time I expanded my lead by another 5 million potatoes, but at this point Squid and I had been farming potatoes for almost a year and we were still farming hours every day with no end in sight neither of us wanted this to continue so we came to an agreement.
Whoever got to 500 million potatoes first would win the potato war. Hypixel even pitched in saying he'd give a surprise to the winner. Now I was only at 300 million potatoes at this point, but I figured I had this in the bag I mean I've been tracking Squid's potato count, I accounted for his afk coverage by having the discord bot track his alt accounts logins and I knew how much he was farming by hand because I was monitoring his farming experience.
With a 45 million potato lead and a farming method twice as fast as his own, what could possibly go wrong?
JUNE 6
Things go very wrong, it was just a small update with a few quality of life changes, you know like an enchantment which replants crops after you farm them and an item which automatically compacts items in your inventory so you don't have to spend time on that. You know, two minor changes which just so happened to buff Squid's farming method from 200 thousand potatoes to 1.2 million potatoes (per hour) and my farming method becomes WORTHLESS.
Suddenly my 45 million potato lead goes from insurmountable to yes Squid could farm that in a couple days, Squid starts putting in crazy hours:
Squid: "If I do 12 hours a day can he keep up absolutely not, people say Technoblade never dies but I'm putting him in the grave."
Meanwhile I'm sitting here in shambles, I was out here with my lab coat on doing the science coming up with new never before seen potato farming techniques and this man just goes admins please replanting is too hard and they buff his farming method six-fold!
Was that it? Eight months of plotting and scheming just to fail in the final stretch? NO i couldn't except that, I was going to win this war whatever the cost. I immediately drank three months of mystical mushroom soup and got to work expanding my old potato farm. A project which would take 25 hours over the next couple days.
I knew I was playing the game as intended when I realised that the only reason I ever put on one of the strongest armour sets in the game was to use its 3% speed bonus to optimize tilling dirt. For the next two weeks I did nothing except eat, sleep and farm potatoes, there were only three interuptions each of which cost me millions of potatoes. The first was a dentist appointment and the second was when I had to play in Minecraft Championships.
Squid: "What do I message him? Was it worth your time losing MCC? ehehehheheehhe" "It took me 2 hours to lose MCC but it'll cost you 9 months to lose the potato war, kayyyyyy RELAX, RELAX, hello?"
Besides that there was only one other time:
"I had to go to the store the other day, I had to interrupt my potato farming because my dad was like hey can you go to the store and pick up my medicine and I was like, can I really tell him that I'm not getting his medicine because I need to farm potatoes? Can I really? Look I'm an atheist, but when God sends me to hell I want him to hesitate, okay? I want him to hesitate for a few seconds.
But Squid was also farming several hours a day and he had evem found a way to maxmize his afk coverage. He started sleeping with his headphones on and had his goons wake him up via discord call whenever his alt left his island.
As someone with a discord bot tracking his online activity I can tell you right now that that man is telling the truth. He was waking up multiple times per night, I don't know why he didn't just use backups like me, he actually revealed to me later on that one of my original goons betrayed me and gave him one of our internal documents and the list of backup pet users is literally RIGHT there at the top of the first page I have no idea how he missed it.
But anywas squid logged off an hour and a half ago, he should be entering REM sleep just about now it would be a real shame if someone woke him. I didn't actually wake him up because I wasn't sure if intentional sleep deprivation was legally considered torture or not so I decided to shelf that strategy for the time being.
And after sacrificing two weeks of my life I finally reached 500 million potatoes.
"WE WIN THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE"
Squid was shocked:
Squid: "He's at 499? No he's not, dude there is actually like, it's not possible! NOOOOO it's not, this can't be reaaal!"
Squid had been certain that he was right on my tail.
Squid: "I don't know how fr behind I am, 100% less than 30 million"
And yet when I won the war I had a lead of over 88 million potatoes. How did i do it? It's just as Sun Tzu says:
"All war is deception." -Sun Tzu
You see I knew after the second potato war video things were gonna get more difficult from here on out, because at this point Squid had a full on organization backing him he had goons, a cabal of billionaires funding his every move, 100s of stream viewers on how to farm potatoes more quickly and reporting on my every move so in that video I prepared my final trick. I hid my true potato count.
The number shown in my video wasn't edited, but it didnt include the millions of potatoes left uncollected in my minions. I also said that my minions now produce 1.58 million potatoes, but they're actually producing 1.75 million because the rabbit pet doesn't actually boost your minions by 30%, it boosts them by 43% why? I don't know it's probably bugged and Squid couldn't realise the real number when he got a level 100 rabbit of his own because he was being sabotaged!
But the biggest reason my lead expanded by that much was because over those two weeks, while Squid averaged 8 hours of farming per day, I averaged 11!
Squid: "I just can't believe how much he's farming."
MenacingBanana: "The admins were legit saying that Techno is just like so focused, it baffled them at how like just insane he was he had no breaks!"
Squid: "I swear to god this Technoblade dude is focused on another level"
Towards the very end Squid had one of his goons write a program to chart how much I was farming by tracking how much experience my elephant pet had, but by then it was too late. Once I won the war there was nothing left to do except celebrate my victory with grace and humility.
Squid: "OHHH MY GOOOOSH he's doing a little emote on me ooohh my not like this come onnnn, was was this necessary?"
"Watch me dance Squid Kid you looose! You lose the WAR!"
After the war the admins added a temporary NPC to the skyblock hub, the potato king it gave out a new talisman which boosted potato minions by 5%, a basket for the top 1000 potato farmers and to me, the POTATO CROWN engraved upon it:

That NPC is gone now, I took too long to edit this video! I gained a lot from the Potato War; patience, discipline, carpal tunnel. I guess my main regret is that I bribed Squid's discord admin to give my alt permission to see into his secret text channels and then HE NEVER USED THEM ALL YEAR!
With the war over Squid took down his potato minions and my fields have gone unfarmed while we were enemies I still respect Squid Kid, I understand now that it is only with a worthy rival that once can reach their fullest potential, while he may have lost the war, he's gone from 70 subscribers to having tens of thousands of fans so it can't be said that he's lost completely. For my part I've realized now that rank number isn't an achievement, it's a prison which forces you to dedicate your life to defending a temporary title, but now with the war finally over... I'm free

Hello everyone, the team's scripter DRAFT (and translator Red, hi guys) is in touch and today we will talk about a wide variety of mod changes.
This diary is very huge, so stock up on tea and cookies :)

  1. General changes
Migration systems and non-national conscription laws were added.
Additional laws window
1.1 Migration
Migration works in much the same way as the familiar legitimacy. From time to time, depending on the situation in the country, you will receive messages informing you about the current level of migration in the country.
There are 8 levels of migration/emigration.
From disaster to increase

1.3 Hospitals
A new building was added. The hospital slightly increases the overall population growth of the country.

Hospitals belong to shared buildings and do not occupy common slots in the region. The maximum for building in each region is 5 units. AI is also trained to build them.
By the way, the maximum number of building cells in the region has been increased to 36, and the infrastructure now gives +0.5 slots (+1 slot for 2 infrastructure levels).

1.4 Conscription laws
Small changes were made to the vanilla draft laws and no, we did not add new ones.
The biggest change was made to the law «only volunteers». Based on the logic of its name, it is very strange to observe the situation that the law gives just a concrete number of recruits for the army. We have corrected this and now the law has a dynamic component, depending on the popularity of the ruling party and support for the war.

State Of Decay 3 Wishlist: Updated

SOD 3 Suggestions and Ideas. BIG LIST
I PROMISE this long list is worth it. Lets begin.
ZOMBIE GAMEPLAY FEATURES:
· Quarantine zones - these zones Is high risk high reward quarantine areas. These areas should preferably be in enclosed areas like hospitals, by mass grave pits , sewers and subways. The loot should consist of rare weapons, rucksacks , maybe a recruit to rescue. These areas should house 100 zombies, Ferals , juggernauts and bloaters. The reward should be worth the risk.
· All zombies/freaks should carry diseases that is harmful to humans. Plague zombies make your infection meter rise fast and regular zombies carry plague but at lower levels and has not fully turned into a plague zombie so if attacked by them your infection meter goes up but not as fast.
· Plague infection. if you want to protect yourself from infection you have to wear armoriot gear but armor can break over time if attacked alot. (juggernauts breaks armor in one hit and ferals shred armor if they pounce on)
•Noticeable symptoms of blood plague. A lot of coughing you can hear, sneezing and more.
·Bigger hordes - Villages , towns and cities should be filled with hordes of zombies and outside of these areas should be somewhat feasible
· Zombie/Freaks models show be More decayed ,rotten and creepier looking. Some should be missing limbs , no jaw or broken jaw, torn face , maggots on the skin ,bones sticking out limbs that are broken, exposed organs , skinny , hanging eye ball and more. Just give us a more gritty helpless feeling of zombies , show us the fate we will have if we turn. No more glowing eyes to , give the zombie ghostly veiny white eyes or red/ yellowish veiny blood eyes. Think 28 weeks later.
· Creepier zombie sounds - every zombie game has its own unique zombie sound from the clickers clicking sound in the last of us (kinda a zombie) , to Old school resident evil slow moving zombie “uhhhhhhhh” sound and left for deads more aggressive sounding zombies. Give us a more creepy, screaming , rasipy ,decayed sounding zombies. Nothing more horrifying than a horde of zombies screaming chasing you down with no ammo.
·Regular zombies should do a bit more damage so you don't want to fight a lot of them at once
·Intelligent zombie spawns and detection. If i'm running around being silent why am I being attacked constantly in a houses and etc. I should only be attacked so heavy if i'm making a lot of noise.
ENCLAVES, OUTPOSTS AND BASE FEATURES:
·Military bases with soldiers ,these bases can be attacked by bandits or you can attack these bases for the loot but it's risky since these are highly trained soldiers With the best weapons. You could also help them out with different problems and become allies.
·Military Presence around stopping people from “looting” and killing those that don't obey the law. Will be shot if you don't comply. So let's say I'm looting with a friend and soldiers that are scouting see us and tell us to put everything back or we will have problems we will then be given an options to comply ,bribe or SURVIVE meaning to fight for survival.
·More hostile and friendly enclaves with Larger player counts 10+ people. Player count can increase over time ,they can upgrade their home with better facilities and get better guns for their settlers.
·Hostile enclaves can choose to contact you and make demands. you can choose to deny the request and face their wrath when they are ready to attack or you play by their rules, build your numbers and wait for the right time to strike. Think about negan and rick grimes group and what happened to them and then eventually fought back.
·Bandits that camp out around the world ,raid and plan large scale attacks on different bases for loot including yours. You can bump into them scavenging around also.
·How Outposts should work - You should be able to build as many outposts as you want as long as you have community members at your base that you can send to live and guard the outpost of your choice (sending members will free up space to recruit new people for your main base). You can only station 2 min or 4 max community members at each outpost or leave it undefended. Outposts can be attacked and taken by Hostile enclaves or bandits. Your outpost can radio you if they need back up or not. Placing guards at your outpost also makes the safe area bigger. Building outposts a few meters close to hostile enclaves, bandit camps and hostile military bases will be attacked more often. If your outpost is far from hostiles they won't risk the journey unless the reward is high so sending your best guys , with the best guns and having a lot of supplies to support your outpost will bring raids. Hostile and friendly enclaves can also have outposts with guards. Enemy outposts can also create safe zones but you won't be safe from their armed guards so be careful and maybe use their safe zones to your advantage.
·Hostiles can ambush you at any given time while you are out. They set traps on the road like cars blocking the roads or bridges then start shooting at your car, they will try to ambush you while your scavenging and block entrances of the building your looting to so you will only have one exit and may more ways.
·Clearing neighborhoods/areas of zombies should make spawn rates there less of a zombie fest for a while (30 mins maybe) before zombies start spawning at the normal rate again.
· Random Squatters that are staying at houses ,garages and etc. They should all react to you differently so some will be friendly, scared of you than tell you to leave and some will shoot on sight. You can try to recruit them ,kill them and take their loot or just leave them be.
· Revolts/Uprising in your enclave - if your community happiness drops to 0% your community will start an uprising for the leader to step down and members will leave your community. You will have warnings to fix the issue and keep your community happy.
· Scavengers - I can send a group of 3 people from my base out to scavenge surrounding areas and their success is determined by their skills and weapons they carry. All A.I enclaves can do the same.
· Raiders - I can send a group of 3 to 4 people to kill and loot hostile enclaves, Betray friendly enclaves ,neutral enclaves bases, bandit camps, military bases .Success is determined by skills and weapons they carry. All A.I enclaves can do the same.
·Home Bases - give us some more unique bases to capture like maybe a neighborhood that's blocked off ,hospital ,military fort, schools complex building, amusement parks and much more or give us a choice to go full fallout 4 style and give us ultimate freedom to choice a spot to fortify and call home.
•Living World - It feels like I’m the only one trying to survive this pandemic and I don’t feel dread or hopeless. I want the world to be more lived in , I want to see more enemies and allies scavenging, battles in the streets or buildings between different settlements or zombies, I want to bump into a ambushed enclave and choose to help or keep it moving, I want to see corpses in the streets and corpses in cars, cars on fire and more. I want to see a better representation of one of the scariest apocalypses that could ever happen to mankind and the ugliness humans will have to become to survive.
•Let factions be in charge of their own destiny and let factions go about their lives organically. Let them thrive , turn evil or turn good , create allies or enemies , destroy factions or join another faction to strengthen their numbers , create outposts , recruit 20+ members, build a strong base with the best facilities and mods, patrol neighborhoods and more. Let them change the world as will. It’s not all about me it’s about everyone having an impact with their actions.
OTHER GAMEPLAY FEATURES/IDEAS:

· more freedom. I would love you to create my own story through my own actions. All my actions should have a consequence. Cause and effect. Let me be a evil murderous raider settlement that everyone hates and fears , let me try to Switzerland and be the main trader settlement for all factions or let me be the savior that the world needs and everyone goes to for help. Just give me options to create and see how me and others affect the world.
· Give us the ability open our map , hover over the face our cursor is on and see what their relations are with other factions.
·Play card games at the lounge. So poker night will actually be an activity you can take part in.
·Big Social Hub 1. This will be a big base controlled by the network and heavily guarded by the network. This will be a destination where you can meet new enclaves , trade, go on missions , craft (crafting here will cost your materials and influence) and much more. This place is "Switzerland" so no confrontation of any kind only peace.
·Big Social Hub 2. "The Pit" ,this is a place where bandits , cannibals and many more undesirables like to go from time to time. This will be a place where you can buy alcohol rucksacks, buy drugs, play poker, see chained zombie pets and participate or make bets on fights till the death (two humans from different enclaves will be locked in an enclosed area and fight till the death). You can bet anything valuable you have to trade.
·Creating trade pipelines. So we have different community assigned to different pipelines. Each pipeline will be different, so for example I can radio in an allied community and say ”Hey I would like to create a trade caravan and trade you guys x amount of food for x amount of medicine“ so on and so forth. All pipelines can be long term (forever) or short term (one time thing). This will open up many different options ,so lets say we don't have a farm but our friends do so why not trade them resources we have that they need and in return we get what we need, now I can build something else in that slot since we are secure on food because of our trade pipeline. Give us many different options like our services for food or something else, fuel for ammo, trade community members and much more. Theres no limit on how many pipelines we can create but our caravan can get ambushed if they drive past a hostile a hostile controlled area
·Creating drugs in a drug lab facility and beer in a brewery facility to sell in our pipelines. We can also take drugs for it’s morale boosts or even OD on some. In an apocalypse some people will want to have a way to try to escape so will turn to drugs to boost their morale and be happy.
·Creating poison. Poisoning food and medicine rucksacks and trade it to enclaves or other npcs in the world to kill them. If I trade poisonous food to an enclave in our pipeline and someone dies they will become hostile towards you and take action unless it kills everyone. This will be great to try to raid without lifting a finger, betrayals and etc.
·Jail cells in your base. This will take up a large slot and this will give you a big morale boost and allied relations will rise if you lock up hostiles. You can capture anyone and ransom them off for rucksacks or other valuables. The more skilled and valuable the npc the better chance you have with the random.
·Bounty hunting. Red Talon will radio in all enclaves and inform you about a bounty. If you take them out you can take there loot, gain influence and your moral/relations meter will go up for doing good. These bandits will be heavily armed and dangerous and anyone can claim the prize like allies, hostile enclaves and bandits. Bounties are issued on individuals or a group of individuals that kill innocents , attack military personal and terrorize everyone on the map.
·You create what type of leader you are through your actions. You leader will develop leader traits through his or her actions. Traits such as humility ,diplomatic, problem solver ,savior ,tyrant , evil , ruthless, Murderer , addict ,negotiator and more
·Being able to kill ANYONE. If I want to massacre my entire group that should be a thing lol.
•Mass grave sites will give the world a much darker and gritty look.
· ability to improve relations with hostile factions. So trading , doing jobs for them , helping their members in life or death situations , helping them with raiding bases or protecting them
·If you Injure you legs you will have a limp to your walk and run which will make you slow
·More emphasis on stealthy play , a cover system to hide behind objects and etc.
·Smarter and deadlier human A.I's that will take cover and flank but Military A.I's Should stand out more since their actually trained soldiers and will try to flank you and add suppression fire.
·first-person mode option
· Lock picks to unlock locked doors so we can have a quieter option. Shoulder door bash and kicking in doors animation.
·Command Enlisted followers -maybe a bunch of preset commands like watch my back , Go silent (use melee only) ,Go loud (guns and grenades) ,stay here ,Search and destroy, Loot (only works while in building) and grab rucksack command and etc.
·Bring 3 followers (the more followers you have the less likely community members will survive a human siege or zombie siege)
·Keep all personality traits, skills and characteristics and add more for SOD 3 with backstories
·intense gunfights and melee altercations. riddle enemies with bullets and watch their mangled limbs fall apart and run the streets red, brains ,guts and Pieces of bone land on the ground, beat enemies with your fists or melee weapons and feel the impact and weight behind every strike and watch your enemies crumble to their knees with their face or body bruised and bloody than you can subdue them and capture them.
· Relationships with community members and other enclave members such as romances ,friendships and etc. Also betrayals. Character development good to bad and bad to good or never changes. This will give a sense of love and care for all of the survivors not only because of what they offer in terms of stats but because they feel like real humans you want to care for and protect.
· more realism to rucksacks - I would like to carry one rucksack on my back and two in each hand. (if I get attacked I drop rucksacks in my hands) also realism to rucksacks going inside different vehicles like we can put one rucksack in the front seat ,two in the back seat and however many rucksacks or items in the trunk. Keep in mind followers can get in if the seats aren’t occupied.
·Being able to close interior doors and Being able to hide under beds, under cars ,in closets and more. There was one time I was unlucky to have 2 ferals chase me into a house and I had no bullets for my gun and a broken weapon from traveling around fighting. While my car glitched and flipped over in proximity of 2 ferals ,So I ran in a nearby house house to try to lose them and well long story short one tackled me in the living room and well I was ripped apart eventually. I remember seeing a closet in that house and was wondering I wish I was able to run to the house fast enough to give me a split second to hide in the closet and wait it out for them to leave.
·Deeper crafting system for melee weapons ,makeshift bombs ,IEDs , Special ammo like explosive bullets and incendiary bullets , gun attachments and more.
•Look through sights
·Daily/weekly challenges that reward you influence or other rewards if completed.
·Military and red talon convoy trucks with goods and rucksacks driving to their base. You can kill the drivers and take the goods or leave them be. If you attack the Convoy they will radio in and call for back up unless you stop them first. There will be a radio indicator over one npcs head ,it will take 5 seconds before the call is made so be quick.
·Hand to Hand combat. I would love to be able to use my fists and different techniques to defend myself when I don't have a weapon. Think last of us for example or other open world games with hand to hand fighting like red dead 2.
·Barricade idea. If there is a giant horde coming after me and I have nothing to defend myself with I would like to be able to run into a house and being able to barricade it. So I would like to lock the doors and nail wood planks against the door ,same with windows. Ferals and jugs should be able to break through faster than regular zombies and plague zombies. Also I should be able to ceven move furniture in front of points of entry for added barricade protection. Imagine you run into a hospital and a horde is behind you and you run into an office with one window, you decide to close the door, lock the door and move the office desk towards the door for added protection. You look out the window but its a high drop and you risk injuring your legs which will affect your mobility but the door and barricades won't hold for long so what do you do, risk getting injured and maybe getting away or getting injured and theres zombies outside and you risk dying or wait for the zombies to break down the door and they kill you anyways. I want to make these type of life or death decisions.
•Houses and building can catch fire and attract zombies.
GAME WORLDS With features:
· Atmospheric Worlds with dynamic weather system and volumetric lighting. If achieved please make fog dense at times and thunder loud and piercing. Stormy days should mask all my noise including driving and gunshots. Dense fog can make us almost invisible from zombies and other hostiles and it's harder for zombies to see at night.
· Some Interior objects like tables ,chairs and etc should react to you when you collide into them.
· Better Ambiance - lets have more environmental sounds, So for instance if I'm walking through the woods I can hear crows cawing or bird wings flapping away, crunching of leaves and branches, gunshots in the distance ,screaming , stepping on wooden floors sometimes have creaking sounds and etc.
· It's been awhile since the outbreak and grass and vegetation should start growing on buildings ,roads and etc. Nature is taking its world back
•Map should be a giant map like ghost recon wildlands consisting of different biomes such as swamp lands ,snowy mountains, suburban areas, rural areas, farm land with big corn fields (imagine getting chased by a feral or horde through a cornfield in a stormy night hearing the zombies groan loud and angrily (HOLY SHIT) and yes cities PLEASE. If not cities give us two or three story buildings to replicate a city. One giant map should keep the fans contained for a long time if done right and with the features I added up top.
UNREAL ENGINE 4 :
If you guys used Advanced Locomotion with third-person capabilities that would put State of Decay 3 far ahead of its predecessors.

There needs to be more weapon and plenty of attachments for guns like larger magazines ,look through different scoops ,red laser dots ,attachable flashlight and more. Add on to the list of weapons you already a have. Here's a little list of weapons I'll like to see in SOD3

·Brass knuckles ( Takes alot more hits to kill but if u have a perk that makes u a heavy hitter u can be a bit more lethal)

·Some objects in the world (bricks on the grounds ,tree branch and etc).
Vehicles Ideas:
-Fire truck
-RV to sleep and camp in if you are traveling far and want to rest your character’s. RV has a big carrying capacity.
-Tow truck to move vehicles on or off the road. Like the cars on the road in the current games we could move them with a hitch on our car or tow truck. (fyi this can be great for setting up traps against allies ,hostile ,military and bandit enemies driving or walking on the road)
-Military vehicles ,only found at bases or patrolling military soldiers and they will be fully upgraded
-School buses
-armored money trucks
STORY:
I would like to see more emphasis on the network ,red talon , stories/legends on how the outbreak occurred and Story of Sasquatch and his team.
Other than that I would like to see you guys continue to build upon on the sandbox game play you guys already have and hopefully use my ideas to build upon it and give it a more realistic, gritty and dark feel.
Character Model Ideas
·Characters with tank tops ,overalls, beards and other facial hair styles, grizzly beards, braided hair, woman and man buns, long hair ,mohawks ,clown face paint character, no shirt no shoes characters.
·More military looks. War ready military characters (all gear on) , camo face paint military character, pilot helmets and body armor.
·Swat team characters with riot gear.
·Different body types (which effect cardio and movement speed) and height (for immersion). Body - Fat ,body builder ,husky, athletic and skinny. Height- 5'9 - 6'3
SOME OF WHAT I LOVED ,WHAT WAS OKAY AND WHAT I HATED :
·LOVED: -Being able to randomly pick community members at the start of the game.
-Traits ,skills and randomly generated faces and names. (Please don't scrap just add lots more)
-Consequences (please expand upon deeper with more brutal consequences, peaceful ones, Friendship changing consequences and more)
-I played all SODs and I've always loved how I can enter every building. I'm hoping that stays the same as worlds get bigger and dense.
· EH OKAY:
-Base Building. I would like to see more depth to securing your base with spike fences ,steel doors that are hard for zombies to break down ,left over room in your base to be used and overall more freedom to create the base of your dreams. Think fallout 4 but in state of decay.
-DLC content so far. Now that you guys have a bigger budget I am hoping for bigger and better worlds with better DLCs.
-Amount of Human presence in the maps. I would have liked to see NPCs Scavenging, driving around to grab the rucksacks for their group, setting up traps on the road to catch us off-guard, looting buildings, attacking our base sometimes and much more. NPC's and factions doing different things and each of them having different agendas. Like have military enforcing laws like the first sod ,threating enclaves to disband and miltary scouts making sure the laws are enforced. Red talon home bases doing whatever it is they do. The Network home bases trading with enclaves , trading posts and helping other and bandits around the world fighting, looting and killing others for their loot. There's so much more that could have been done.
·HATED:
-Combat- I feel combat could have been better in terms of melee strikes ,reaction to being hit and much more. I would have loved to see hand to hand combat with other humans and seeing them react to the different blows accordingly.
-How I wasn't able to kill anyone at anytime.
-How I couldn't choose my own path of what type of leader I could be through my actions like killing innocents, killing bad people ,helping people survive, set up trade routes ,giving free rucksacks of food to communities and much more.
-There wasn't really friendships/relationships between individual community members. You would think surviving together ,fighting together and being together always would build bonds and much more. Like taking a certain follower with you all the time opens up relationship paths or doing good or being back attracts different people and etc.
-Graphics weren't that good but I won't judge to harshly because they WERE a smaller studio some would say an indie studio. Hopefully my favorite Prospect company can Turn SOD Into a AAA game for the next gen xbox.
-maps were to small
-Not much to do. Create a bigger sandbox experience.

With the new Xbox consoles on the horizon and rumors of it being extremely powerful with brand new AMD Tech and Undead Labs now becoming a first party studio with all of Microsoft's support and funding (HOLY SH** BTW lol) I believe you guys can capitalize on this and build a beautiful optimized, creepy and realistic world with amazing physics and atmosphere.

The history of the Neptunia Reddit community, it's moderators, it's drama, how it got where it is, and how the divide is worsening in the shadows, and why the oldest burned bridges have had enough!

Not many of you recognize my username and honestly even if you knew my old accounts name it hasn’t had much meaning in the Neptunia fanbase for years ever since tiger_wsquared turned the subreddit over to Soah1086 , an action many of us who were around the subreddit during its inception and had been active among anime and gaming subreddits in general refer to to this day as “Gamindusti’s Original Sin”.
Since that time me and a few others found our new place in the Neptunia Reddit community. We looked, we analyzed, we profiled, we investigated as much as we could from the shadows recording the history of the subreddit and it’s ever increasing decline and how it correlated to the ever growing toxicity of the Neptunia fanbase at large. We knew a day may come where this history would need to be made public, when actions worse than what Soah1086 did to Rajaxx came from his moderation team and people needed the truth. Unfiltered from personal relations with any current users or moderators and gathered from a truly unbiased aspect. That day appears to have finally come.
Like most niche subreddits the beginnings of Gamindustri were rather humble. tiger_wsquared simply wanted a place for Neptunia fans to go on Reddit and looked to provide one. tiger_wsquared started by posting links to articles and news about the series but he also went out of his way to announce the creation of this subreddit. He posted it on gaming , JRPG, I personally found the subreddit the day he posted a very chill friendly post about it on nipponichi.
Despite being the creator and sole moderator of the subreddit Tiger still spoke to people like equals. Casual, Friendly, but still fulfilling his role as a moderator when needed. To Tiger he was a fan and member of the community first, moderator second.
tiger_wsquared was then contacted by soah1086 offering to help him out and redo the CSS for the subreddit. While since his departure from active Reddit user newer users of the platform aren’t aware soah1086 was always a heavily controversial person among anime Reddit communities. Soah1086 was one of two Reddit users among anime communities known to be a serious subreddit hoarder, offering to moderate subreddits he didn’t care about and do their CSS in hopes of patting his own ego. Throughout his time on Reddit Soah1086 always showed a series of anger management issues, aggressive impulses, and the shady practice of allowing drama in his favor while censoring any drama that painted him ill. He would also go to other anime subreddits he didn’t moderate and purposely try and stir their drama further. Soah1086 was referred to by many as “The Drama Boner”.
Not long after another Moderator was added to the mix Rajaxx, A moderator that took up the persona of Purple Heart. I know to this day a lot of rumors circulate about Purple Heart and no two are the same, they all contradict each other and not even Soah1086 keeps his story straight. Allow me to go over what happened with Rajaxx in detail from someone who went through and witnessed all that first hand.
The time of Rajaxx’s mod term was the golden age of the subreddit. Believe it or not Fanart wasn’t super common then. We had people posting Discussions, what if scenarios, game mods, fanfictions, trying to organize gaming events with each other, reviews, analysis, theories, roleplay threads. The community was unusually active, more so than it is now despite a smaller size, involved, a true sense of comradery.
By this time tiger_wsquared had begun distancing himself from the subreddit due to his real life struggles leaving soah1086 the defacto head moderator. Rajaxx had a large number of ideas that the community at large not only supported but would have created a more active, involved, positive, friendly, and united community but soah1086 constantly refused because it wasn’t what he would do, it was too much work for volunteers, none of his other subreddits do that, etc. soah1086 wasn’t even willing to give rajaxx’s ideas the benefit of the doubt.
A moderators role is to unite, try and promote content variation, and to do whats best for people other than themselves but this never aligned with soah1086’s style of moderation. Round table, a system that prioritized the moderator teams happiness above all else. See outside of just Gamindustri any community Soah1086 has had any decision making power outside the CSS has become toxic, divided, and drama ridden. Even the two subreddits he devoted the most time to because he actually cared about that series for once, fatestaynight and grandorder have grown into the most painfully ironic anime communities in Reddit history. With fatestaynight having a community that hates their moderators for being toxic pricks, and grandorder having such strict posting guidelines people often choose to post n fatestaynight instead. Someone who moderated under soah1086 on fatestaynight once described soah1086’s management style as “doing as little as possible, finding a good eroge that all the moderators like, using it to cum on a biscuit and having the community be glad you gave them a snack that month”. He is also the kind of person who publicly stated the reason he never did a second season of PeanutButterGamers hardcore is because he didn’t want people laughing at him, above all else he cared about being on a higher caste than anyone else.
Around this time the Gamindustri steam group was a thing. Rajaxx wanted to partner with it and make it official, a sentiment that was shared by most of the active community. Soah1086’s stance was “If we aren’t at the helm, it can’t be official”. Rajaxx made a post about it hoping the words and wishes of the community would be enough to move soah1086’s heart. Soah1086 was livid, Rajaxx showed his loyalty lied more with the community than it did the moderator team and to soah1086 that was a big no no. To every community Soah1086 had helmed the modus operandi was “your loyalty should be your fellow moderators first, close friends second, with whatever is left over being thrown to the community I guess”.
soah1086 took down Rajaxx’s post, said he was going to have a “long talk” with tiger_wsquared about Rajaxxs “position” and it seemed like less than the time it took us all to blink Rajaxx was demodded with soah1086 trying to spread a bunch of lies about him.
The entire subreddit was in a state of utter shock. The large majority of the community loved Rajaxx, he was more than just a moderator, he was one of them. People were either silent, confused and asking questions (while Soah1086 promised full transparency he didn’t provide it), and a very small group of rather toxic childish users who were scared of rajaxx because his ideas for a more united community would put them at risk of getting banned or seeing him as a threat to their own manipulative shady ambitions. soah1086 gave the toxic element a rule exempt card allowing them to break subreddit rules and sitewide policy when bashing Rajaxx while removing and censoring everything in his favor or that brought question to the actions taken by soah1086 and their nature or disapproving of them.
Rajaxx collected all the evidence he could of soah1086’s shady asshole and manipulative behavior, much of which was publicly facing, but soah1086 removed it and allowed more bashing. More and more of us gathering to Rajaxx’s defense did the same but soah1086 would censor anything that wasn’t 100% in the moderators favor, something his mod teams had a long history of doing when they saw their actions were unjust.
The demodding of rajaxx was like a light switch. So many of us left because of it with no intent on returning until someone came into control of the community that’s loyalty was more to the community than the happiness circle jerk of their fellow moderators. Fanart quickly came on the rise because without a moderator that acted as an equal promoting content diversity people just wanted the quick karma grabs. NSFW was on the rise which created heated arguments about kinks. Users divided into sub groups that were always in a constant power struggle against one another, toxicity battling it out while unable to see the wrong in their own actions and trying to solely put the blame on others. Manipulative power games over status and resentment became the norm. If you can find posts from when Rajaxx was still around and compare it to the community after you will see what I mean.
This drama inspired me to enter a career in law enforcement.
This at least did make me decide to follow a career in law enforcement so I could fight corruption and protect the innocent.
The subreddit was mostly left in the hands Histoire (aka kitsunedon ) and White Heart (aka luminous083) who were not bad moderators in their own right but they were honest, fair, and unbiased even though a bit too passive to break down the walls soah1086 had built they would at least prevent things from getting terribly worse. Anytime something happened on the subreddit soah1086’s stance was “It’s just old Purple Heart trying to cause shit again” despite the fact Rajaxx had resigned the fandom entirely by that point, overtime the rumors that spread turned even people Rajaxx had worked with and spoke to daily who knew he only ever had good intentions against him. This was something we had seen on other subreddits happen to people who opposed Soahs way of doing things but I digress.
As the sub numbers grew mod applications went up again and the moderators that were chosen were great picks. Neptune (Aka SuspicousScout) and Uzume (aka Willtheyordle ) while they both had their issues with proper mentoring they could have reached the uniting style rajaxx had but when you look to Soah1086 like he knows how to manage a paper bag you are not going to realize potential.
As kistunedon disappeared one day without any word or explanation willtheyordle picked up the random discussion posts kitsunedon had begun, SuspicousScout showed a level of personality, flair, and style almost reaching the level of rajaxx with willtheyordle just a few steps behind. willtheyordle wasn’t very active at first I would like to note.
SuspicousScout hoping to help bring the community together again around the series created the Gamindustri Discord server. Now it is important to note, for profiling actions taken by the mod team both before and after this that SuspicousScout did not fully consult their mod team about doing so, but it wasn’t an issue because it fit Soah1086’s mantra of to be recognized we must be in control.
Overtime SuspicousScout became frustrated with the lack of content diversity feeling users didn’t care about the series and just saw the series as a billboard for sex dolls. After making a poll about what people felt and being dissatisfied with the results SuspicousScout did the respectful thing and stepped down.
With Luminous083 having finished his schooling and no longer able to commit the large amount of commitment needed to moderate a subreddit such as gamindustri he distanced himself from the community leaving just WillTheYordle as the sole moderator to keep the rapid toxic selfish fanbase the actions of Soah1086 had created in check.
It was around this time the gamindustri moderator team began getting complaints about the Discord server. Now let me preface with this, the people who came to run the Gamindustri Discord weren’t innocent but nor were they guilty, they did some things that were very out of line but those things were not as bad as what the current moderator team did both before and after becoming moderators and nowhere near the extent to what Soah1086 had done during his entire Reddit history.
However with SuspicousScout no longer being the one in charge it no longer falls under the mantra of we need to be in charge to be recognized. Soah1086 smeared them the same way he had Rajaxx and if you loo at his behavior all throughout you have to half wonder if he was getting off to the drama.
In the aftermath of this new moderator applications were brought up and the new moderators were picked by Soah1086 personally. The picks were nonsensical and makes you wonder if Soah1086 is properly medicated.
Atanigan (Million Arthur)’s application was written like a champ, amon the top three moderator applications in the subreddits history. However he didn’t seem to have much care for the subreddit, after being moderated it seemed he’d go months without really doing anything while pooring his heart into his Discord server, Gamindustri Standard. Randoomguy666 (Nepgear) was a controversial pick due to his history involving him denouncing the community’s toxicity and porn obsession prior, people demanded he be removed but he was not and willtheyordle and soah1086 pleaded ignorance and having never been aware of his history despite both of them having publicly acknowledged it prior. Ryzer28 (Vert) was a lurker whos application showed no self confidence, drive, or real passion, to this day Ryzer28 is one of only two moderators in the subreddits history not a single accomplishment can be attributed to. Out of these three the one that objectively was the best pick was the most controversial one, randoomguy666 . Despite issues during his term he had done a decent blend of balancing commitment to the mod team and commitment to the fanbase. He was ever present, smiling, trying to help users and encourage activity by seeding content and events. Not to say he didn’t have his issues, as a prominent member of the Nepgear subgroup he was subject to the typical arguments with the Neptune or Plutia fans (Why is it Planeptune has all the infighting?) but yet during his term he has more accomplishments and positive actions attributed to him than most, easily reaching the top 4 most accomplished moderators in the subreddits long history.
In the midst of his controversy another new moderator was brought on a few days later, wwlink55 . Wwlink55 seemed more committed to his role as a moderator of the subreddit than Atanigan or Ryzer28, but far less so than Rajaxx, Luminous083 , Kitsunedon , SuspicousScout, WillTheYordle , and now Randoomguy666 and his habit of being very cold, sterile, and business like was and to this day still is a very unpopular approach among users who always responded better to the flair, personality, and having fun with it.
When that seemed to have been dying down the account PM_ME_YOUR_DARKSINS was subject to a statement by dracesquire announcing they had taken their own life. To this day there are conflicting reports to if that actually happened or not but I don’t think we will ever know at this point.
It was at this point we had the NSFW ban attempt of summer 2018, objectively speaking the subreddit at that time did need NSFW restrictions but not to go so hard and fast. Despite the community's hard objection to it multiple different methods were tried before heavily reduced to just “extreme NSFW”. Some of these included a single thread for all NSFW content, or just cold turkey. This event period was so extreme that it spawned the spin-off subreddit Gamindustrir18island where users were given free reign to anti-circlejerk on the gamindustri mod team, and for a period of a couple of days caused Neptunia to be opened up from its ever closed status.
Amidst the variety of various subreddit events being hosted by Randoomguy666 came what all the moderators admitted was his brainchild, The Miss Gamindustri Pageant. The event was quite popular and successful but there was some Drama towards the end. Mostly related to accusations of rigging, the Neptune, Nepgear, and Noire sub groups seemed to be the most vocal members of this little spat and as a member of the Nepgear subgroup Randoomguy666 faced a lot of flack for it.
Towards the beginning of 2019 moderator applications went up once more. Overall most of the applications were extremely lackluster, with only a few really being of note. HCLegend, Legend1nfamous , and the_seraph1.
Among the two new moderators were the_seraph1 (Purple Sister), and sleepyviewing (Gehaburn). These picks did carry a bit of controversy of their own by people accusing of character bias since most moderators seemed either to not care about the subreddit or pooring all their energy into the discord server owned by Atanigan giving the image Randoomguy666 was the end all be all. A prime example of this was for quite awhile nopani made a constant string of memes mocking this fact.
Despite it this was promising, sleepyviewings hyperlurker status kept him a bit of an unknown, but the_seraph1 was promising. He had only been around the subreddit a couple of months preventing any sub group from properly taking root, he was capable of memeing and joking, while also serious and professional, seeded any type of content that was on the decline and hosted multiple events regularly, even was the first moderator to get something to make the waters of reddits loli rule less murky something that bigger subreddits failed and and thanked him for. While I can’t say for sure if the most accomplished he was certainly a running candidate for most accomplished Neptunia moderator on Reddits history.
Not long after the moderator team started an NSFW ban attempt again this time polling for opinions via mod mail. The ban went through but the community was more upset this time at the lack of an affiliation with Gamindustrir18island and the instead establishment nor NeptuniaNSFW . Now many people asked why are there two Neptunia porn subreddits? Well the official answer is valid, members of gamindustrir18island including its moderators were guilty of a lot of hate spreading and harassment towards the gamindustri moderation team, if we look at its current Discord its early days were a cesspit and before that on the old gamindustrir18island discord the likes of edwin-of-northumbria and darklhel225 would regularly take part and engage in the hate cult based against randoomguy666, while my sources on the following part are second hand I also hear that a private discord spawned off the old gamindustri off topic chat room owned by silenteagle3 that user bashing and hate circling is a common occurance to this day ever since Silenteagle3 kicked randoomguy666 to make his friends happier. Not surprising if the rumors about the infamous Xander being amongthat discords most active and respected users are actually true.
The new Subreddit elected two new moderators to cover it, dracesquire and legend1nfamous, who seem to be the definition of “doing nothing but appreciate the sidebar” If we look at the history of NeptuniaNSFW and their accomplishments on it, being mentioned in the post about the gamindustri pixel art contest. Outside that their accomplishments or things they have done have been non-existent, half the time they seemed to forget their own subreddit existed.
Not long after we had randoomguy666 resign. For a lot of members it was a bittersweet moment, because despite the initial objections to him a lot of people warmed up to randoomguy666 over time with all the contributions he had brought to the community. Randoomguy666 did imply he planned to return someday. While there were some toxic hate filled comments people made they were quickly taken down leaving only the most respectful. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
As time went on the_seraph1 had shown a remarkable job juggling bringing the community back together with his full time job in a tech career, capable of full access and response time almost any time of day. There was a minor scuffle however when nopani lashed out at the_seraph1 for trying to cheer up and provide emotional support to a sad comment in a random Discussion post left by Nopani. nopani admitted that what he posted addressed emotional insecurities the_seraph1 had that had been explained to him by sleepyviewing. nopani’s behavior seemed out of nowhere, have nothing to do with what the_seraph1 said, and being hypocritical since nopani has made those same comments. If we look at the behavior of nopani there as a standalone isolated case no logical sense or reasoning can be applied to it. Having briefly discussed this with the other long term observers of Gamindustri the only way Nopani’s actions can make sense there is field testing, it was after this harassment from alt accounts that had almost no rhy7me or reason began on the rise, and since I’m just talking about publicly facing stuff I can’t begin to imagine what the_seraph1 had endured behind closed doors. The thing is if we look at every public facing harassment or hostile action taken against the_seraph1 afterwards they all seemed to address those same insecurities, if we take it as field testing how out of nowhere the behavior of nopani was can make half a lick of sense.
The summer approached and a new moderator was added, Archadianite or as he used to be known Glarcidium, taking up the olds mantle of Neptune that SuspicousScout had left behind. Big shoes to fill to say the least.
Around this same time randoomguy666 returned just in time for the AMA thread with Artisan Studios and announced he was helping a relatively unknown name, chaotic-throwaway help revive the subreddit nepgear. He was joined by two others, nopani and edwin-of-northumbria. To any uninvolved observer this behavior was once again a bit nonsensical. These were two people who expressed great relief when randoomguy666 left so why were they now supporting and modding with him?
Allegations came forward of Randoomguy666 faking his own death and spreading rumors against the moderator team came forward. willtheyordle made a post and god was it a good post. Yes it was basically denouncing someone but it was respectful, informative, and passive. While you look at any time Soah1086 calls someone out and you wonder if he has taken his ritalin that morning there was no doubt willtheordle’s post was made in good faith and to inform, not to direct hate. There was one common thing among all comments though. Everyone agreed without question that out of all of randoomguy666’s “victims” the_seraph1 had suffered the most. THIS IS ONCE AGAIN IMPORTANT.
Things were relatively calm for a while. Eventually nopani did make a post about leaving the subreddit and unfollowing all the Neptunia subreddits, yet still showed up in the pinned threads of every one saying he “stumbled upon it”. How did he stumble upon them if he unfollowed the subreddit? His motives clearly were not what he said they were because ifn he had truly unfollowed them it would have been impossible to stumble upon them scrolling through your feed.
Glarcidium was demodded in a very respectful post showing no hard feelings. I can’t say I am entirely surprised but I was disappointed for Glarcidium was one of the first who’s loyalty to the community came before his loyalty as a moderator. But I understand why with how quick he can be to jump before trying to take in all information. There was something that was confusing about all this. nopani said he once again “stumbled upon it” and that he never saw Glarcidium as mod material, but before he heralded the modding of Glarcidium as the greatest thing in subreddit history. Why the shift? Looking at the way nopani talked about the moderation team after Randoomguy666’s departure and comparing it to the way he did before the departure sucking up to be in good favor isn’t an impossibility.
In this brief time much was done to help mend the torn ligaments of the community. There was a community introduction thread that was incredibly popular, the_seraph1 was making constant posts not even as a moderator but as a user of “would you be interested in seeing something like this?”. The community was slowly mind you, but turning towards the path back to the state soah1086 had robbed it of smearing someone's name because he wanted to feel superior and incapable of wrong.
This sadly came to Seraph making a thread about what the community wanted, “State of the Subreddit”. Anyone who actively followed the subreddits history would know his words are sincere because the mindset of doing as little as possible and just trying to copy what others have done had long since been the norm in soah1086 communities. What the_seraph1 described had been a problem with every community he had ever managed and part of why they all grew to be so toxic.
The next day we saw the_seraph1 step down citing toxic harassment from the other moderators. While things were going well kind respectable words of goodbye and fond memories from the regulars it fell apart when atanigan jumped in lashing out at the_seraph1 saying he was lying, no one lashed out, etc. the_seraph1 posted a screenshot proving the other moderators were outright toxic and atanigan banned him citing “leaking mod chat”. Ironic part is this wasn’t the first time an gamindustri moderator had shown something from the mod chat, infact atanigan had done it once prior herself in a Random Discussion post in a means to troll willtheyordle.
Legend1nfamous , dracesquire both jumped in after the ban bashing the_seraph1. Given how these people had all shown to be on really good terms just a couple weeks prior the_seraph1’s statement of “Lance said I lost the right to play nice because now he had to fear the community hating them” seemed like a very strong correlation to the sudden shift. None of us were surprised because soah1086 management practices, if you are less loyal to the moderator team than you are your own country or religion your a problem that needs to be silenced, and the_seraph1 had shown that day just like rajaxx had so long before his loyalty was first and foremost the community. nopani jumped in claiming wwlink55 and sleepyviewing both said it didn’t happen and “sleepy is his best friend”.
There was one saving grace in all this. willtheyordle was still head moderator and the only one that had the backbone to go against the mod team if it meant cleaning up a mess. If you look at willtheyordle’s history of the subreddit he was top 5 moderators the sub has had. He had his issues and short comings but when shit hit the fan he didn’t try and cover it up or lie he’d say “Look we messed up, I’m going to fix it”.
In the final conclusion to that while the final post showed signs of heavy editorial review not matching the_seraph1’s behavioral or speech quirks. However at the same time the final story of all that was still more in line with the_seraph1’s story and atanigan and dracesquire issued an apology towards him. So here is the question. Why did Atanigan , wwlink55 , sleepyviewing , legend1nfamous , and dracesquire lie saying nothing like that ever happened? More importantly why did sleepyviewing who according to nopani was his best friend lie? And when there were apparently 4 people who lashed out why was only 2 ever issue an apology? Simple they were the only two still on the moderator team that we knew for a fact were involved. Notice legend1nfamous who had left neptuniansfw by that point didn’t apologize and even tried to defend his toxic behavior? Nor did the currently unnamed 4th.
It is very clear that the apologies were an order by willtheyordle and that they were far from sincere and I’ll get back to that in a few minutes.
When all those moderators lied about their team being even capable of toxic behavior and only seemed to have to own up due to willtheyordle how do you expect us to believe anything any of them ever say?
A month or so later willtheyordle stepped down due to his real life needing priority and ryzer28 along with him. the_seraph1 came back and the community was ecstatic, I know several observers felt it was worth giving the subreddit a chance again and made new accounts in celebration he was spared the fate of Rajaxx.
However if we take a step back we can evaluate this unbiasedly, it’s why those of us from rajaxx’s day lurk and address things without really interacting, so we can see the truth and the odd behavior without getting absorbed into the various sub group power games that had grew from the day soah1086 became head mod, we can see there was a game going on far beneath the surface.
I would address Atanigan said on his Discord how the subreddit was horrible and he never dealt with so much emotional abuse, showing that his apology was mostly likely insincere but that to him saying you disapprove of his actions makes you a problem. This makes sense when you look at the fact the newest admin on his Discord server, Gamindustri Standard, sigmastudio is described by many behind closed doors as “Weeb Kim Jong Un”. Acting smug, elitest, morally superioholier than thou, and someone who doesn’t see himself being capable of anything wrong. On his Reddit history we can also see a long history of him trying to bait randoomguy666 and the_seraph1 into arguments, often digging up month old posts to do it. But he’s an admin because he contributes to Atanigans friendly ego stroking.
ryzer28 began spreading rumors about the_seraph1 that from what has been gathered so far weren’t entirely accurate, especially since later the_seraph1 showed screenshots of ryzer28 admitting they were inaccurate and he was doing it out of spite.
So why wasn’t ryzer28 denounced when he had just become guilty of the same behavior randoomguy666 ultimately faced it for? Simple answer would be ryzer28’s actions fit perfectly with what soah1086 and any mod team that ever thought he was capable of managing a sock drawer did to people who suggested the way they do things wasn’t the best, smearing.
We know he told these to nopani who then forwarded these over to the new moderators when they applied which were all very close friends of his. This here is the proof that something shady and underhanded was going on.
It wasn’t hard to see these new moderators hanging around or chilling with the_seraph1 in Gamindustri Standard in the days leading up to the mod applications and explanation. While things were rough for a bit we slowly started to see the_seraph1 was regaining his vigor and recovering for the emotional and mental gaslighting the mod team had engaged in.
On Christmas we saw that the_seraph1 was late to the celebratory post because he had stayed up late readying the community's secret santa event. I ask you have any of the other moderators ever sacrificed an entire Christmas Eve to prepare something fun for an internet board? This isn’t rhetorical by the way this is a question I actually don’t have an answer to.
After a bit an apology post by randoomguy666 went up and it was great closure for a lot of users, but then the unexpected happen. Soah1086 used the_seraph1 to reenact Gamindustri’s original sin.
The post and the days that follow were surreal. If we look at the comments what do we see? The people we know for certain lashed out at the_seraph1 before lashing out again, the suspected 4th ryzer28 doing it all the same, all close friends of legend1nfamous the only 100% confirmed moderator to have lashed out at the_seraph1 during the state of the subreddit incident joining in on the kicking someone while they were down. The only close friend of legend1nfamous that didn’t as far as we can tell was ChronicIdiocy
This thread was very reminiscent to everyone who had ever seen soah1086’s behavior running a subreddit knew this wasn’t in good nature, it wasn’t meant to be honest, it wasn’t meant to inform or be transparent. It was meant to direct hate.
Like normal in Soah1086’s smear campaigns comments against Soah1086’s “Mark” were given free reign but anything questioning the mod team was silenced in seconds. This post did however show us the biggest proof in the coming days that things weren’t what they seemed.
This is where nopani told us he forwarded the rumors spread in spite by ryzer28 to the new moderators who “knew all along”. Why is this important? We know in the coming days the_seraph1 tried to do what rajaxx did and peace out of the fanbase but wwlink55 didn’t let him. We also know from screenshots the_seraph1 posted that this pushed him into a quest to seek answers so he could make sense of the nonsensical. Through this time wwlink55 kept changing his story to cover the other moderators' backs. Look I’m a patrol officer and on my way to being made a case investigator, when someone has basically been attacked mentally like what soah1086 did the way wwlink55’s primary goal was covering the other moderators backs is among the most damaging thing you can do to someones state of mind and self image/worth.
But we know from screenshot’s the_seraph1 tried posting that wwlink55 wasn’t taking anything suggesting the mod team would be semi capable of wrong or fault. There is one question though the_seraph1 never asked in those screenshots, why didn’t these junior moderators he seemed on really good terms with come to hear his side of these rumors? See that’s the thing that shows the moderators were up to something, when someone spreads rumors against your friend is it not the norm to come and hear their side?
Once these screenshots were posted publicly on the subreddit thus started “Avenger” the long term harasser that had been driving the_seraph1 out of the community entirely wanting no one to ever hear from him again. Interesting part is just after that happened Soah1086 changed his Reddit banner image to Gorgon from Fate Stay/Night something that from what I can see not the_seraph1 nor anyone else ever commented on or made a connection to.
Outright hate and toxicity towards the_seraph1 was allowed free reign, things were allowed to stay up when far more mellow things had been taken down in regards to randoomguy666 both before and after his denouncement. Meanwhile posts supporting the_seraph1 were often locked or removed entirely. The funny part is this, if we look at the removals of toxicity against randoomguy666 the responding moderator was quite often wwlink55, so why now that he was supposed to be head moderator was he not showing the same courtesy? Simple for the mod teams happiness they had to smear him, its the soah1086 way.
As time went on the mod team tried to silence the topic entirely, likely realizing the case against them had reached a point it painted them more at fault than anyone else, something once again common among soah1086 communities of silencing things and letting the toxicity boil fracturing the community rather than trying to mend the fence.
Now I don’t know much about this supposed Val person but my sources tell me that they were in the gamindustrir18island discord briefly and their account was heavily aged? Makes the odds of it being an alt unlikely honestly but I won’t comment because that person is mostly an unknown to us.
From what we gather by the end of it mind shattered and being left with zero self worth the_seraph1 just wanted to keep chatting with his friends but once this Val person showed up they stopped responding, thus making this Val person cement the long term harassment goal of no one talking to him again.
This basically shattered the_seraph1’s mind to such a point he began turning to self mutilation as a cry for help and not only did the gamindustri mod team laugh it off but from what we understand edwin-of-northumbria told him to just “do it already”? Sorry that alone should be enough to ban edwin-of-northumbria from the community entirely and block any community hes part of from so much as being mentioned.
Eventually the_seraph1 was so mind fucked like many people had been before from the mod teams of soah1086 communities and their priority of mod team happiness above all else that he left, his girlfriend showed up and said he had tried to do an unthinkable action in response to all the emotional harassment and manipulation. When she joined the Discord just wanting to understand what the hell happened users taunted her before sigmastudio posted one of his custom Noire emotes and banned him before him, the other staff of that discord, and the users did a victory Dance. How is it that that is an acceptable response to someones loved one trying to do the unthinkable? In a respectable community sigmastudio would have lost his position on the Discord for such an action but remember these are people who above all else don’t want moderators that want the best for their communities, that want friends who will tell em no matter how toxic they are or how badly they mess up they are doing everything perfectly. The norm for soah1086 communities. We can see that his Girlfriend has been on Discord for quite awhile and from what I’m told she talks about in kuletxcore’s server if things had been different I bet you she could have been a well loved member of this community too.
Interestingly enough a large number of anime Discords have been subject to raids lately, including Neptunia. But not a single user in any of them seems to be getting messages. Heck some of these anime Discords still have about 200 bots just sitting there. But if we look at his twitter we can see the_seraph1 was getting mass bombarded to the point he left Discord servers, unrelated to Neptunia, that he had a decent enough level of activity his name was at least “recognized” to get away from the harassment and save those Discords the trouble. So why leave communities entirely unrelated to Neptunia he enjoyed? Why were these bots joining Neptunia Discords but not messaging a single person in them? Simple, harass the_seraph1 and use the alts hitting the Neptunia discords to try and smear his name more if I had to guess having seen these moderators behavior in the past.
Now the_seraph1 is gone and similar to Rajaxx it doesn’t sound like he doesn’t intend to ever come back, yet all this bullshit is still happening. We can see this in the recent tweet about a bad actor weresdrim is being harassed and extorted for Neptunia and here on this subreddit in that “Want to be a mod” post we can see that hobiiii is being targetted for gamindustrireform. Why is this important? Only Neptunia subreddits not currently ran by an gamindustri moderator or their closest closest friends. It fits the mantra going back years, to be recognized, we must be in control.
